BTW: As for Sheffield, I agree with LTS. He's an idiot, but he's by far the most entertaining guy in the league, at least in sound bites. Also BTW: Until a black player with talent says something to this effect, it's pretty hard to justify it. Lofton was treated differently because he played like shit.
You have never been a fan of Joe's ways but I bet you enjoyed 4 Championships? Really? Joe has guided us to 2 AL pennants, how many has ARod been a part of? It just aamzes me how guys can bash a Manager that led us to 4 Championships and 6 AL pennants yet defend a guy that has gone 12 straight postseason games w/o an RBI. It's absolutely mind boggling. This is the first year he's been clutch here and coincidentally we stink and it's a contract year. Yep it's tired, it's been alot of fun watching him hit "big" HRs up or down 7 in the 9th inning. Where would we have been w/ Arod the last 3 + years? oh wait the year before we got ARod we were in the World Series. It's been much more fun watching ARod do his magic in blowout games than watching my team reach the World Series.
