There was a moment in I think the second when he tackled Woodhead for a loss, as he was getting up he punched the turf next to Frodo's helmet. My first thought was "I hope the zebras didn't see that" closely followed by "I'll bet Woodhead did". Big Cat was a man possessed yesterday, we need him to keep that fire burning.
I think Tom Brady had Gisele check the closet for Shaun Ellis before he went to bed last night... Ellis played lights out last night - he was breaking through double teams to get to Brady. I'm glad the old man still has it in him. A lot of people on this board were saying he was done...come on down to get your crow, while it's nice and hot! :breakdance:
Very Happy for Ellis ... been through all the ups and downs. Great game for him. I'd give Sanchez the MVP yesterday, but Ellis would be right next to him. BTW ... didn't hurt us, but I have to say ... He gave up on the Harris Return ... Just stopped running at the 50 and watched the play. If he hustled and threw a block, we might score on that return.
Yeah, Elam would be great to have around, but Ihedigbo/Coleman have been filling in that role nicely.
Ellis sure did play like a champion, it was great to see the big man step it up and earn back some of the respect he might have lost!
I've never seen Ellis have a game like that.. he was just overpowering double teams and getting pressure all day, hitting Brady and stuffing runs. A phenomenal game.
One of the most consistent and underappreciated Jets players. This guy maybe more than anyone else on the team deserves a ring.
We need him for one more season while we try to develop a replacement (and forget the Gholston fiasco). He really deserves to get his ring with the Jets...
Or if Harris didn't look like he had run out of gas running only 50 yards and ran to the outside instead of cutting it back to the middle of the field.......
