I need an Ellis jersey.. He's been my favorite defensive player since I was younger and he was HUGE today. He's like a teddy bear! lol Great fcuking game baby!
Ellis played a fantastic game. MVP of the game, imo. He had to play well, the last game agaisnt NE he didn't too good.
Ellis was incredible. Sacks & some good run stops. Considering how long Ellis has been w/ the Jets, it was great to see the old veteran still able to deliver the big plays. NE must be wondering wtf happened as Ellis is all over the place crushing ppl.
I've always given Ellis credit for being such an awesome Jet. He's been at the top of the list for next jersey.
I haven't bought a jersey in a few years..mostly team t-shirts, hats, car decals, etc. My jersey list is Revis, Sanchez, and Ellis. I'm saving up to buy the trifecta at once. If we win this week, all 3 are going on the credit card despite current unemployment. I've been sporting a C-Mart throwback lately. Re: Ellis, He knows he's only 2 games away from what he's been waiting for his entire career, and I don't see a single offensive line left in this competition he can't pummel.
Shaun Ellis was putting up 10+ sacks during his days as a 4-3 defensive end. As we all know, the 3-4 DE position has never been a position known to put up big time sack numbers such as 4-3 DE's or 3-4 OLB, but correct me if wrong; but since becoming a 3-4 DE back in 2006; Ellis leads all NFL 3-4 DE's in total sacks. During the John Abraham days, we could never trust that J-Abe would play due to injuries, but we always knew Shaun Ellis would be ready for a dog fight. We always knew Ellis would fight with us on Sundays. This man has been my all time favorite defensive end in team history. He deserves a SB this year, and he also deserves the chance to defend our championship next year. I hope to see jersey #92 retired some day.
I was wearing my authentic starter ellis when he was on the field . i got it for x mass when he was a rookie.
There was a report earlier in the week that mentioned that Ellis was the most visibly upset player in the locker room this past week, stewing over the memory of the Monday night blowout. He was on a mission yesterday and he got his man.
I Posted a thead at the end of the week on how we needed to pull a Giants going against the pats and put brady on his ass and well... We did it. An Ellis was the main reason for it. Amazing job by the Big Cat.
Definately gets my vote for MVP. He played his heart out in our biggest game of the season. If he performs like this next week, big ben is in for a world of hurt with their makeshift offensive line.
I agree, big props to ellis, who played like a man possesed, but the goal is to win the sb, not just get there.
Had to bump this up. Ellis was off the charts yesterday and really played like a guy who knew this may be the last game he played in green or possibly in the NFL. GOD BLESS YOU BIG CAT!
