I find it more annoying that Ellis was busted driving under the influence than that he was in possession.
I know you're upset that Ellis did something stupid to the detriment of the team. This is true in both his and plax's case. However that is not what TJF said. He said "suspend him for a year due to the legal ramifications". So yes, he was comparing the two...and the question was, of course, rhetorical. Plaxico committed one or more felonies endangering the lives of people with a few years hanging over his head. Ellis committed a minor misdemeanor with no potential victims but himself, and will get a fine at most. The two are hardly alike except in the regard to which you alluded. I agree with you on that.
