Those guys last night going out of the cage with the Mako's there are out of their fucking minds. You couldn't even pay me to go in that cage.
Lol, I'm going into the cage next summer with my buddy--with Great Whites off of Isla Guadalupe. He's a big diver, he did it last year and took some great videos. He's free diving with Bull Sharks off of Cabo Pulmo, Mexico right now. _
That's insanity. Pure insanity. Looks pretty cool but I don't have a pair big enough for that shit. I've gone sky diving and all that but those sharks.. No shot.
real life shit for Pro Surfing's World Champ today in South Africa: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-...k-fanning-attacked-by-shark-in-surf-comp.html
Not watched this, but isn't the short fin mako the fastest shark in the world? Love all shark programs. The wife thinks I'm obsessed.
Just booked it. Next September, 5 days off of Isla Guadalupe. Great White Sharks, in the cage, face to face. Already shitting a brick. _
Lol--not so fast. So here's the deal. They have cages at 10 feet, 20 feet and 40 feet. My college roommate, who set this whole excursion up, has done this trip before a few times with his wife. Said the 10 foot cage is the best for actual face to face viewing--and when we go we should be getting the huge females. He said the 20 footcage is not as good for face to face but you get some good whole shark viewing. Water is crystal clear--visibility up to 150 feet. But he said the most surreal is the 40 foot cage where you are looking up at the sharks swimming above you AND YOU CAN STAND ON TOP OF THE CAGE in what's called a "partially protected" area. Basically you have a railing and the chains around you as your only protection. Sounds dangerous but he said they aren't feeding at that depth so standing on top of the cage isn't really all that dangerous and gives you a really unique view of the killers. My two buddies and my brother that are going on the trip are all in on standing on top of the cage. Like this: _
This is my favorite image from the boat's website. This is the picture I want to get. Kids are getting me a Go Pro for Christmas. I'll post video's of a shark taking my hand off. _
I'll try a lot of shit. I'll go sky diving bungee jumping but standing outside the cage with that shark swimming like that? NO THANKS.
You see I hate heights. I couldn't even get near the edge of the bridge to bungee and go up in a little plane? GTFO. _
I didn't watch Shark Week but I did just get an email from Bahaa El Sharkawy (mynamesharkawybahaa@gmail.com), how is anyone supposed to take that email seriously?
One of the guys we're going with just sent me these three videos from Isla Guadalupe he found on the internetz--check out the dude on top of the cage! http://www.esquire.com/lifestyle/a39606/biggest-shark-ever-caught-on-film/?src=social-email http://www.grindtv.com/wildlife/the...ark-looks-you-in-the-eye/#jOIApMhxGpupFui6.97 _
Shark Week starts Sunday! Monday at 9:00 pm they are airing them going to Isla Guadalupe to film the largest Great White Shark in the world called Deep Blue. Geezuz that's where I'm going in September. _
