Other than the fact that Elhai works for a football franchise, I'm not sure I've seen much evidence of his involvement in the football operations. He escapes scrutiny pretty much every time.
LOL He runs the business side of the Jets. He has nothing to do with football. I remember a couple of years ago when fans were gunning to fire Neal Glatt because he sat in on the interview with Gase. I am sure Glatt was only in those meetings to help Christopher answer any questions on the business side of the Jets if they came up.
