this is the toughest month of the season for us. 2-2 would be amazing, but most likely it wont happen

Jeff Fisher is a great coach, they run the ball extremely effectively, and the Jets are going to be without Calvin Pace and Shaun Ellis and with a rather inexperienced group of wideouts. I never count Tennessee as an easy win.

You're assuming the team that shows up against Tennessee is the team that showed up in Tennessee last year and not the team that showed up in Oakland.

Yeah really. That was arguably the best game the Jets played last year. Unfortunately there were also a number of games when they didn't play half that well.

Tenn fans argued that their team was overconfident going in. Perhaps, but this year they're not going to be caught unawares.

Putting it otherwise, I don't think there's anyting particular about the matchup that favors the Jets.

    I expect a loss.

We have lost both, a Mangina and an old QB with a torn Bicep. That's addition by subtraction.

Our offensive line is better than Tenns.

They won't be concerned about Stuckey the way they were Coles last year:

    1) Because it's not Favre throwing to him, it's a completely unproven rookie who may throw harder than Chad, but does not throw as hard as Brett

    and

    2) Because it's not Coles going up for the ball and making his YAC.

Coles had 7 catches for 88 yards in last year's game. Cotchery had 6 for 55. Do you think we're going to get the same level of production from our offense this year as we did last year in this game? It definitely won't come in the air, that's for sure.

Losing Haynesworth > Losing Favre and Coles + Adding Bart

I wonder how many times you were dropped on your head as a child.

Well, I sure as hell don't follow the Cowgirls.

So far, in the preseason this year, the Titans' D is 17th against the pass (321.2 yards), 10th against the run (95 yards.)

Last year they were 6th against the rush, giving up 93.9 yards per game.

Chances are, they're going to defend the run at least competently this year, which takes away our strongest offensive facet, and puts the ball in the hands of the rookie QB.
