BATTLE OF THE DAY: Mike Iupati vs. Dan Williams* You can't miss either of these guys - they should be going at it all game long.
On this first offensive drive for the North team, Iupati got the best of Williams on the first couple of play, then Williams bounced back and made a great play in the backfield.
Iupati with a holding penalty that negates a touchdown. Looks like UGA's Geno Atkins is the guy that he held.
Cody and Williams look pretty dominant thus far it seems every time they try to run in that direction the rb has to cut to a new lane
That's 700 pounds of beast clogging up the middle - it should be close to impossible to run up the middle when these guys are next to each other. I've been very impressed by Geno Atkins so far. He's not the tallest guy (just under 6'2), but he's got a great first step and he's a high effort player.
the question is though, which guy is it? or is it purely because there is so much mass/skill there that these guys just can't move them both off the ball? Also two big guys like that with that much power are not normally found on the same line even in the NFL, so i don't know how you can expect to block both of them at the same time with some guys transitioning to the pros.
LaGarrette Blount just made George Selvie look like a chump - Selvie needs to realize that he can't tackle guys high...especially someone as big as Blount.
