I think it would be in everyone's best interest to see a guy like Vaynerchuk by the Jets one day, someone who really loves the team, but I doubt he'll ever have the money to do it. One thing to be worth millions, but hundreds of millions/ a few billion is a different story.
Larry David would be the perfect owner for this franchise. The Curb theme tune could be our flight song.
Stop whining, he is not selling the team even if he becomes an ambassador. In fact if he becomes an ambassador it will be even worse as he will probably leave the totally inept GM and worthless peiece of trash HC in their roles for the next four years.
I promise to sit through a few more Die Hard "sequels" if Bruce Willis promises that all proceeds go towards buying the JETS, and bringing Curtis Martin with him.
LMAO As a matter of fact hes a Jets fan and said he wants to be GM or Coach All he needed to do to learn was to "shadow" Mac and Bowles...ahahaha
http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/20...-each-team-since-2000-entering-the-super-bowl Jets are 14th in wins since 2000. About 10th in playoff victories. The team has been better since Johnson took it over, even if his winning percentage is slightly below .500 at this point. That's not to say he's a top tier owner because clearly he's not, but he's certainly better then Hess was.
Hess was clearly not the best of owners. One could argue that most of our success comes from Bill Parcells bringing in talent, coaching up players, establishing a winning mentality, and brining in Bradway and Tannenbaum to take over his GM duties. Just because we won more than half of our games with Woody as owner does not necessarily mean he knows a damn thing about pro football.
Agree. That doesn't change the fact that the teams been statistically better since he purchased it. I'll take a hard pass on going back to the Hess days.
