    I have no doubt the 1999 team was poised to go to the Super Bowl - if not for Vinny's achilles. That was the best team on paper. So, since that team did not succeed - I will have to say the 1998 team was the best. They won the big games and finished strong to take the division title, and actually could have beaten the eventual champion Broncos with just a couple of breaks!

    Think of how good Vinny's team would have been with a guy like Shuler at TE?

    Agreed, the way that they played over the final 6-8 weeks with Ray Lucas at QB shows just how talented that team truly was.

    2007-2008 is the second best Jets team, because this is the year we win our second Super Bowl and dominate the rest of the league. Mangenius and Chad are going to lead this team to victory.
