Gee, champ speculating that something bad will happen for the Jets? Un heard of.

I pay $80 for seats 20 rows from the goal line in section 128, awesome bargain. Will have my grill fired up and ready to go for September.

I tend to agree with Champ on this one. People have been paying $50 a year to wait for tickets at face value. If a PSL is announced, in essence this is a tax or "vig" on the price of the seats. Not many fans are going to continue paying $50 for the priviledge of eventually getting ripped off unmercilesly when their number is called.

Still, I think if PSLs are levied, they'll be levied on premium seats, not all the way around. The whole design of the new stadium seems to be to accomodate many more premium, Mezz-level, glass-enclosed sideline boxes for which corporate executives will spend beaucoup bucks to entertain clients.

If guys like me, who are already in the Mezz sideline, don't want to anty up, we'll have to move outside that premium area and either up or down to less desireable seats. That will push others who are closer to the action further out. I just don't see them levying PSLs on every seat in the house, especially much less desirable seats. And the way this stadium is spread out, those seats are quite a bit farther away than they were in Giants Stadium, which makes it a colossal rippoff all the way around for everybody.

Problem is, somebody will pay, so they have no reason to do anything different.

Sorry 227 I think EVERY seat will have a PSL maybe what the NYJ consider the "best" seats will pay more. You can be assured Woody wants to get back his 650M investment in the stadium back as soon as possible

Yep that is the facts. Here we say it is what it is & in the ultimate end with all the moaning/groaning the options will be pay the PSL or drop your season tix. Woody is banking that for everybody who now has S/tix there will be some company to buy them once the the STH says nay to the PSL

I would suggest you & others keep your testerone levels about the NYJs in check for this year because at the end of the season my signature will read after 40 years & 14,300 some odd days we still have not become WORLD CHAMPIONs. I suggest you bookmark this post & recall it after we are out of the SB derby inn December 08

Way to be miserable your whole life, champ. Why are you even a Jet fan? Assuming you are one, which I kind of doubt.

I'm not prone to wanton bursts of optimism, but I genuinely feel that we have as good an opportunity to win big this coming season as we have had for ten years.

Mid December? So you're saying we won't even be in the playoff chase? Is this a prediction from you, champ? You never did give us your almighty solution to how to fix the Jets, why don't you give us your plan now instead of just predicting doom again?

    Season Tickets Question

I had season tickets back at Shea, and I'm in my 3rd year of having them again. I have four tickets - two pairs in the upper deck that are separated by about three rows. Ever since I got the tickets again, I have been requesting (in writing) that my four seats be put together, regardless of location. I'm not trying to get better seats (although I obviously would take them if offered); I'm merely trying to get all four of my seats next to each other.

Has anyone else been through this, and how long does it usually take?

    Thanks.

    Mike

That is MHO & sorry if you & others who chime in do not like it. Again I will mention keep those NYJ testerone genes in check. No I have it for recall 12/15 as a JIC thing so I do not miss there dismissal date from the SB derby. Since you are such a supposely wild eye rabid, fervent NYJ fan by now you should know all the things that are wrong with the NYJs for as long as you have been a fan. I believe if I am correctly that you have had 20 years of adulthood & have seen them win exactly NOTHING. Just remember to bookmark your thread for 12/15 when we can talk again about why the NYJs will not be SB champs at the end of this upcoming season

So far this not a SB contending team so I would check in your NYJ testerone genes cause you will fall into a depression mode when they again are eliminated from the SB derby. Whom is going to lead us unknown KC or known & easily defendable CP?

So is "testerone genes" the new champ phrase for March? Because other than that you've again provided no insight except that you don't know the right places to use "whom".

December 15 is a Monday, so you're saying we will be eliminated on December 14 without even seeing the schedule? The draft isn't even here yet and you're writing off the season, which means you already don't like who we're going to take? It doesn't seem to me that you are basing YHO on any knowledge or insight at all, just your own chronic negativity.

No I am not saying that it is a JIC thingy so if it occurs with a few games left in the season I will be fully prepared. I am not saying when they will be ejected from this years SB derby all I am saying is they will be so you best calm down those T genes or be ready to see the MD at seasons end to treat your depression

Yep bad situation a money grabbing owner vs middle income folks mostly. It is like a train hitting a car the car always loses & in this case the MIF will be the losers sorry to say

Yeah, you'll be prepared. You'll magically be on "vacation" when we make the playoffs, like you were in 2006.

You said we'd be out by 12/15. That's Week 15.
