Sanchez was able to throw for the most TDs and yards in his career, with a bunch of receivers who can't get any separation.
This is a stupid fucking thread. Cromartie did not have a outstanding season...That fucker cost us 2 games this season
Too early for this thread. j/k Harris played great this year. Greene had 1000 yards rushing despite the glaring O-line deficiencies. Kerley looks like a developing 3rd down option. Revis is still the best corner in the league. Mo Wilkerson looks like he can be a player.
Red Zone Offense -- # 1 ???? I have a thread which states that our being #1 in RZO with the rushing and passing "O" both in the 20's is unreal. Who would think we were better than Brady, Brees, and Rodgers in RZO ???????????
You're going to say Cro, our #2 CORNERBACK, had a bad year because of a couple special teams fumbles? I swear people do not understand how good we have it with our two corners. There's no harder position in todays NFL when you consider the pass happiness and pass-favoring officiating in the league. With as little of a pass rush as we have, it's amazing our defense was as good as it was. I'll take Cro as a number 2 anyday.
If you don't get to the RZ that often then a percentage stat is misleading. I'd sooner lead the league in points scored.
Sanchez played good until the last 3 games of the season. And this was with no O-Line save Mangold when he was healthy, no running game for half the year, receivers (Keller) played like dumbasses at times, and he had the worst coach in football calling plays.
Thank you. I seriously question anyone's intelligence who says Cromartie didn't have a great year. Either that or they are seriously biased against him.
every single cornerback in the nfl got torched at one point this year. cromartie has his flaws but he played really well this season. he is the least of our problems at this point.
Kyle Wilson was covering him on that play AND he missed the tackle. Cromartie just missed the tackle. He didn't get torched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gwj90GMIeu8 Do you people even watch the fucking games?
Kerley looks to be a really good player especially for a fifth rounder. Joe McKnight showed he is useful Aaron Maybin was a very nice surprise, would love to see him a Jet again Sanchez DID improve, 31 tds total is good idc about completion percentage especially when wayne hunter is his right tackle and he has new receivers every year The most important thing is the WAKE UP call where Rex had two back to back AFCCG appearances in his first two years...this playoff miss should make him more angry and hungry again and hopefully address the safety and pass rushing needs that for some reason he refused to address LAST BUT NOT LEAST....SHOTTY should be gone....we were not going anywhere with him as our OC as evident in the AFCCG last year and throughout this entire season. I don't really blame Holmes that much...he is our #1 receiver and he was only targeted once today and has only 51 catches all year. Apparently they hated each other so hopefully once shotty is gone everything will be better! People need to relax after losses...it's not the end of the world. It's hard to imagine anyone beating any NFC team that goes to the super bowl so at least we have a decent pick this year
Agree on all points. None of these are anything to get overly excited about. Probably most excited that Wilson will be at worst a serviceable CB and at best a potential Pro Bowler someday.
- a decent 2011 draft class - most showed potential to stick around for a good while - revis played great - Harris has continued to play well despite getting paid - No-one died Can't think of anything else. I have a fucking massivelist of negatives from the season if there is a thread for that?
Favre was fucking terrible with the Jets. So I'm glad that Sanchez cleared the "fucking terrible" bar.
