I'm actually fine with this season no matter what. I think they will be bad, but Unlike the last 2 years they are trying to rebuild, not disillusioned with the roster and trying to max out victories - like they got a real shot or something.

It's refreshing to know that even if they are terrible, they aren't "trying" to be good . If that makes any sense.

    Rex magic

Rex's magic has worn off. His defense can't stop the run and the "offense" he has let deteriorate over the last three seasons is now down to a rookie QB, FA RB's and a cast of nobody WR's. I too am hopeful. Hopeful that John Idzik is the real deal as a GM and cans Rex as soon as this debacle of a season is over. No one deserves it, or has asked for it more.

I believe we have the 3rd youngest roster in the NFL.

If we are going to be a 6-7 win team, I'd rather be a 3-4 win team and get Bridgewater/whomever in the top 5 picks (depending on who steps and looks great this year).

Nothing is worse than being trapped in the 6-10 to 10-6 mediocrity loop where you never get a high enough pick to get a great QB, but you aren't good enough to win anything.

We have had 1 12 win season in our entire franchise history. The Patriots have had 7 out of the past 10.

We need a freaking QB! If Geno bombs, I want to move on to the next guy as soon as possible.

Not going by what I read in the Post

Let me clarify where I was coming from with the Post Headline. No I don't live and die by what is said in the Post. I am in NC and don't even see the Rag. What I do see is pictures of covers of papers that spell out what I already was thinking. What I was doing was throwing out a statement I saw on a web site and waiting to see where all the rest of the fans were. I found out what I already thought would be true. Herm said it best. We have to play the game. I don't have any great expectations of booking my seats to see the Jets in the Superbowl this year. But I do hope that we can field a team that is competitive and gives me a reason to look forward each week to watching each game

If we end up with 5-8 wins I wouldn't mind using our first rounder to pry Cousins loose from the Skins.

Of course if RGIII can't play a full 16 game season the Skins aren't going to give him up.

That's good because they would probably cost you 50k anyway.
