The entire FO is terrible as is the owner. And I am not worried you will be calling me out out. Conversely, if I'm right I'm sure you will have plenty of excuses ready.

    Exactly.

Except I truly believe that Idzik is already doing things the right way and I have a feeling his philosophy will remain the same wheatear we have money or not.

He isn't the type of guy that is going to make huge splashes in free agency. I think he's going to find those diamonds in the rough on a regular basis. I think he will consistently bring in low cost high reward type players and focus the big money towards the draft and current roster players.

I think he understands that the draft is the biggest part of the offseason and that is where your going to consistently keep this team competitive.

    I'm excited for the future.

Save your breath. He's either a straight up troll, or someone with a second account to try to stir pot. It's impossible to be that stupid w/o an agenda.

you are of course correct. with limited cap, and limited depth, you bring in a lot of low cost guys for competition and/or insurance.

Edwards, Garay, and Peterman were actually outplayed by guys like Harrison, Douzable, Ducasse, Winters, Spadola and Gates. It made them expendable which is not a bad thing.

Others like Landry, Barnes, Colon and Winslow will start for us.
I expect we scrape the waiver for more low cost competition/insurance in the coming week as well.

Only thing I'm not sure on are the RB's, as we really haven't seen much of them. If healthy, I'm comfortable they can contribute. Just not sure if they can remain healthy.

i think the 'failure' of some of these free agents is also a testament to how good the young talent has evolved. and some of the now-jettisoned free agents probably provided good competition. it's a big process. can't really focus on individual situations/positions. see where this team is in a couple years and then look back to judge.

    The guy should be banned.

Wow, for a guy who proclaims to be a Jets fan you sure only seem to find the negative with anything concerning the team. I hear the Pats, Fins and Bills all have fan openings, why don't you apply.

I love all you long term horizon big picture guys. The Jets have gone nowhere for 40 plus years. Some of us don't have time to wait any longer. Parcells proved you can change it in 1-2 years if you have people who know what they are doing in charge. He used FA AND the draft. There was no wasted motions, no dart boards used. Since he left, we have had no one who fits that bill of knowing what is needed.

I have no real opinion on Idzik yet because it is too early... but he really had his hands tied capwise this year and had to shop fom the bargain bin.

And the offense is - what? Not agreeing with those with the rosy colored glasses on?

One last response to you from me,as I have to agree with others here, you are no doubt a troll who just likes the attention. You obviously can't read either as I suggested YOU chose another team, not me. Hope the rest of the site is done with you as well, as you are nothing but total waste. END

Jonathan Dwyer was cut by Pittsburgh. Would be an upgrade over Bell.

I'm surprised by this. He's better than Felix Jones.

I think he might be done in the NFL. I don't see a logical landing spot for him as a QB in the NFL.

it's a bizarre move. he's a better back than Redman and much better than Jones. Jones has looked pretty bad this preseason too.

I'm a big Robert Malone guy honestly, but we should really sign Zoltan Mesko. I wanted him in the draft, which of course signaled that New England was taking him. He is a great punter, but they went with someone else for some reason.

Also, I'm surprised that there weren't really any good players cut today.
