every football (soccer) coach always vows not to walk away but to stay and fight on to correct the wrongs and turn things around - everyone knows they just want the pay off but they go through this charade anyway - if brian walks away then everyone knows its because he was going to get pushed so its not like he is fooling anyone and i doubt he is so rich he could afford to just leave that sort of money lying on the table.

This guy couldn't cut it with the Argonauts, can't believe teams see something in this guy.

 

If he's really guaranteed 3.2 million the next two years then the Jets are going to have to fire him. Nobody walks away from 1.6 million a year to take the kind of 200k salary a college coordinator gets or the 500k an NFL coordinator might get.

Why did the Jets offer him that much money? That's more than all but a few coordinators in the business and the guys who get that much used to be head coaches and have established skills well above Schotty's level.
