UMMMMMM, well, YEAH!!!! And if my wife's new shoes were $20 instead of $300 I'd probably like them a little more too.... Like I said at the time - When you spend TWO 1st round picks (and more) on one player you are stating emphatically that this is one of the best if not THE best football players you have seen in your lifetime - You should be willing to stake your 1st born on the results..... At the price the Jets paid this guy needed to be a RUN STOPPER..... You pay the money for RUN STOPPERS not underweight penetrators.... And if he was a hole clogging run stopper he would have been better int he 3-4 as well.... And there's stories about people knowing he had bad knees before the draft.... He was way too inexperienced and injured to spend that much..... More often than not, it's wise to trade back and get more talent - Again, unless you want to stake you 1st born on something. FREAKING BRADWAY
People who are complaining about this pick are ridiculous. Look at the best couple drafts as a whole. No one drafts superstars or even starters with all of their picks.
