Great news!!! I think they will play it conservatively. It looks like Robert Williams from Celtics had something similar. Returned in under 30 days. Had some pain, but basketball is much more demanding on knees than QB play. Another good news is that it is not the same as old injury, no PCL damage. Probably won't be ready for Game 1, but Game 2 is a strong possibility IMO.

Really all around the best news we could have hoped for.

Hard to imagine better news for a franchise on suicide watch expecting much worse. That is twice now that Zach has avoided a big time injury.

The important thing now is to make sure we don't take any shortcuts to compromise Zach for the future and make him more susceptible to future meniscus injury. Hopefully second opinion will confirm and surgery will be done today.

Did you guys actually watch Zach last night before the injury?

When he went down my first thought was “OMG we have a shot at competent QB play this year!”

No more frantic reckless running and ensure he slides or goes out of bounds

I fell into Twitter last night too. Never do that because you just get a bunch of idiots making shit up hoping they are right.

Great news, but last night was still one the darkest periods of my jet fandom.

Utter nonsense. But I clearly didn't expect anything different from you. You never have and never will give the kid a chance. Period.
How pathetic to root for an injury to prove an ill conceived point.

That was your first thought after seeing a 23 year old go down with an injury?

    Says a lot tbh.

This reeks of throwing him into week one with limited preparation and the young QB getting demolished by the Ravens like Sanchez did way back when.

This is what I hope they don’t do. If his return timetable ends up being closer to 2 weeks than 4, Week 1 could still be an option but I’d say just sit him for Week 1 it’s it’s closer to 4 weeks.

No need to rush him back IMO. Flacco can start a game or two until Zach is 100%.
