good points. Not sure i agree about the game manager point though. I remember pretty vividly that as soon as Bledsoe came in the offense changed dramatically. Brady spread the ball around throwing to guys who were open and not locking in on just one guy -- like Bledsoe used to do (million dollar arm ten cent brain)

I know he cheats and will always hold that against him but he is not the same coach today as he was with the Browns.

He mentioned in many interviews the mistakes he made as a HC with the Browns, apparently he learned from them.

Like I said to Browning, I’m not counting them out until I see it for myself.

Yes, they went 11-5 but that still represented a significant decline from the year before with Brady. Granted, we are starting from an extreme of 16-0 the year before but it’s all we have to work with, and a decline from 16 to 11 games is almost 1/3 less games. If that carries over you’re looking at 8-9 wins for the Patriots.

Fair enough. I agree they will decline. It will be a welcome change to think some other team can actually win the division.

I’m counting them out as Super Bowl contenders. Can Belichick coach them to be a good team? A playoff team? Absolutely. But we are all well versed, as Jets fans, in the difference between just being a playoff team and a legit Super Bowl contender.

I knew back in January this day was coming.

I am so excited. I couldn't care less who NE's QB will become because it WILL NOT BE Tom Brady ala a freaking MACHINE within the pocket. With 6 SB rings and plenty more SB appearances. Tom Brady is GONE! I was I believe 15-16 the first time I seen Brady play after we injured Drew Bledsoe. I'm now 34 and know enough to know that Brady will not be replaced.

The Jets have been in search for a Franchise QB since Joe Namath.
The Bills have been in search of a Franchise QB since Jim Kelly.
The Dolphins have been in search of Franchise QB since Dan Marino.

Now it's the Patriots turn. Bill Belichick will become EXPOSED without an All-Time Great @ the QB position. Belly has coached 6-7 years without Tom Brady between Cleveland/N.E and has a career losing record without Tom Brady with 4-5 losing seasons compared to only 2 winning seasons without Brady and... 0 SB's. N.E is done. Belichick will become exposed.

The ******N.E Patriots****** run is over: The Cheaters are finished.

My view of the Patriots end is very different than others, I don’t want them to make playoffs period, I want the Patriots to languish at the bottom of the division like they did before Parcells was hired.

I want to see empty stadiums and have their fans bring back the Brady years as their only solace.

Today is one of the best days if my life.

To officially know that Brady will finally be out of NE, is a glorious day.

Fuck the Coronavirus. Not raining on my day. Beer me!!

Brady fucking sucks at this point.
Some team is about to make a big mistake while the Pats just got a little better.

I’m going to enjoy watching brady get the shit kicked out of him without the benefit of Belichick and great defense and specials.

Most overrated system QB ever because of where he played.

It really doesn't matter. In 20 years both will be underwater anyway. ;)

You're right about the Niners having Steve Young.

I don't see any way that Belichek goes after Cam Newton. Cam isn't a good enough passer, doesn't make quick decision, and isn't smart enough for that offense. I could possibly see Teddy going to NE.

The Pats will still be formidable, but unlike those 49ers, they don't have another Hall-of-Fame quarterback waiting in the wings.

    Brady says he's going elsewhere...
a rural crossroads in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi, Brady reveals the ultimate secret; his ability with the football came about because of a deal with the devil made right on this very spot and he now wants his soul back.

    Cheating cunt.

In tampa he will have 2 pro bowl receivers on the outside and a system favorable for QBs... I don't think he will get the shit kicked out of him

He’s beyond washed up and no great coaching, preparation, defense and adjustments to rely on.
He’s immobile as can be and can’t take getting hit.
Is Arians gonna ensure the ball out of his hands in 2 second dink’s and dunks?

It’s gonna be a train wreck for him in Tampa, and I’ll love every second of :D
