Not only are they rebuilding a team, but a team stuck with a bunch of guys (McCareins, Jolley, Robertson, et al.) in whom Bradway invested a lot with no return. This is a major project, involving not only bringing in new guys, but getting rid of a significant bunch of stiffs. More power to them for at least trying to plug the holes to keep them competitive this year. But as the year goes by and the team (I really hope not, but suspects) disappoints, let's keep in mind the mess they inherited.
Totally. I'm shocked Boobway is still EMPLOYED by the jets. With the terrible contracts he got us into, the bad draft picks, and loss of good young players (Jordan, Kareem, Abe, Moss), WHY is still on the payroll?????????????????????????????????????????????
He still has his uses. I heard he was a good scout/evaluator of talent but just didn't have what it takes to be a GM. Hopefully Tanny can purge of us of all this dead weight so we can keep our guys in the future.
