your point was fair, Sauce seems more "impact" at this stage, but not sure if that's due to "recentism"
My fading memory along with the biggest win in years may have contributed to a bias on my part. If Breece Hall has not been injured for the season it probably would have swayed my opinion. How's that for "recentism"?
same here, just trying to be objective. I'm gonna have an ulcer from all the hot sauce Ive been consuming
Wasn't Vilma a casualty of us moving to a 3-4 under Mandumbass? He went on to have a pretty good career in NO
He doesn't compare to Sauce but Snacks, as an UDFA came in hot as I recall--so did another UDFA Robby Anderson who screwed an Arizona TD yesterday on a false start.
yes, unfortunately. Because a true "Mangenius" knew he didnt fit his scheme.... but don't worry, Vernon Gholston will fit as an OLB just fine
Never wanted to pay Anderson. The money to head case ratio was too high, and that seemed to be the right call.
Actually, if you look again you'll see that Gardner kind of double clutched on the hands moving up but did not make any significant contact with the receiver either time.
But that's not bad officiating - quite the opposite. The receiver has the right to stop or come back for the ball; the defender does not have the right to plow the receiver off that spot whether the DB sees the ball or not.
Did Snacks play as a rookie? I seem to recall there were noises about him but it was year 2 he played.
that’s fine and he does a good job of not committing a penalty that’s how he plays most times I’ve seen he doesn’t have his head turn around. He just reads the WR and works most of the time. He’s been playing like a top 5 CB
You're memory is better than mine--according to pro-fb-reference he only played 5 games with no tackles--it was next year he started 16 games.
