Are you an idiot? They scored 45 points....45. Let him go? How does that make any sense? He fumbled a ball and they got 7 points, then he missed a catch that led to an INT. Had he made the catch, it was not necessarily a TD. He left the field after that INT then the D couldn't hold the Eagles out of the end zone....then they proceeded to rack up 45 points. Somehow you think he's the reason for that and 26 point differential in the score? I think I just answered my own question.
Holmes please stop fucking celebrating on catches. I know it's a miracle that we move the ball down the field at this point but when you celebrate you just make the team look like a bunch of assholes.
i agree whole heartedly with this. as i said a few weeks ago when that dipshit from buffalo got us 15 yards.. hey that was pretty funny but thanks for the 15 yards. moron... however when a jet does it and costs the team 15 yards there is nothing funny or good about it. and at the score that it was for him to worry about his self absorbed douchebaggery is enough to make me hate him... still. you know i never watched that video someone posted a month or so ago about this guy. i could use some stuff that puts him in a good light. dustin keller doesnt get a pass for his move of absurdity a few plays earlier when he caught the long ball and gave the first down sign, hey thanks dipshit, the ref just told us it was a first down... how about you get your retarded ass back in the huddle and figure out how to get out of this 28-0 hole.
he didn't give 14 points to the other team. how fucking hard is that to grasp? it doesn't matter whether the Eagles got the ball because of an INT or a punt, once the defense is on the field with 70 yards needed, if the opponent scores it is on the defense. there is no fucking difference between how the Eagles got the ball when they had to go the entire length of the field to score. so unless you blame the punter when opponents get a touchback on a punt but drive for a TD, that score had nothing to do with Holmes. at best it was a 14 point swing, because we went from potentially tying it to down 14, but even then that assumes we would have scored a TD on that possession. even still, that doesn't put the Eagles scoring a TD on that possession on Holmes. just fucking stupid.

Okay, I'm sure as hell I will be getting flamed extremely for this.. But the guy fucked up. And he has an ego... But let's keep in mind, how many times has this guy come in clutch for us? How many amazing grabs has he made? The way I look at it...if after a TD he was just being a mope and just lackluster of heart, then I'd be more worried. Yes he over-reacted with his taunting of the Eagles, but that's who this guy is. He's not going to break down and just give up, he's going to be aggressive, taunting, and the stereotypical Jets behavior, win or lose. Like I said, he had a HORRRRRRIBLE game, but he's human, and it happens. We don't know any of the factors surrounding his life, who knows why he played like such shit today. But all I know is this guy has won us more games than he's cost us, so for that -- I give him the benefit of the doubt.

What Holmes did was exactly what Stevie Johnson did when we were beating up on the Bills. It was stupid and the only person that though it was a good idea was Tone. Do the little kid airplane arms hold your head up and play the game you're supposed to play.
It made us abandon our game plan for one. You're just looking at the final score, but you have to look deeper. 14-0 makes us a passing team. We're not a passing team, especially with the glorified #2 receiver masquerading as our #1, the glorified possession receiver masquerading as our #2, and the terrible coach masquerading as a legit NFL offensive coordinator. When the Eagles know you're passing, it's basically game over. They have that great pass rush and excellent corners. Their weakness is their run defense and we couldn't exploit that falling behind so early on. You need to understand how falling behind a team like that early is going to be a detriment to the rest of the game and the game plan we had going in.
