    There has to be a conditional draft pick involved somewhere ? Or even this pick itself is one ?

    When I first opened this thread i thought it was another bs "the Jets should do this" thread. It would be a great pick up for the team. My girl is a steelers fan and is trying to play it off as no big deal. The Jets FO just never ceases to amaze me. This is a steal! Somebody call the cops because the steelers just got robbed.

    whats left for Tanny to do? Build a fucking time machine and somehow trade for Lawrence Taylor and Derrick Thomas(for a 1991 11th rd pick and 1992 10th rd pick)

    So suddenly our WR core is one of the best in the NFL right? I mean Braylon, Holmes and Cotch is an outstanding top 3, no? Do we have any definite word on the suspension?

    They just confirmed on Channel 2 that it is a 2011 5th round pick. Also, he is apparently a free agent in 2011.

    Edit: as other people are saying, now it is saying online that it is a 2010 pick.

    Ok, ESPN is reporting it is a 2010 pick, yet I see 2011 in other places....I don't know what to believe yet.

    Edwards and Holmes' contracts are up in 2011 along with Mangold and Brick. Hopefully Tannenbaum can work his magic on the contracts like he can with trades.

    Per ESPN: It's a 2010 pick.

    At the very least we are setup for a completely new level of disappointment for 2011.

    And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we have the 32nd pick in the 5th?
