Leasing Holmes for 1yr for a 5th rounder seems like a good deal unless Holmes is a bigger screw up than we realize. He was apparently the king of the wake & bake in Pittsburgh. Holmes, LT & Braylon - that is quite a crew.

I'll tell you exactly what Fireman Ed is saying:

"Hooooo-eeeeee! You smell that? You smell that!?! Of COURSE you don't. I just took a big fat shit right there on your shoe, and you don't smell a DAMN thing. *Sniff* *Sniff* Not a damn thing at all. How do you like that?"

Would the NFL change their policy in line with the medical marijuana.

Jersey just legalized for that reason. So if Holmes has a script from a Dr., can he use then?

Another great quote from FinHeaven... not Holmes-related but still, fucking HILARIOUS!

"I believe it was Nolan who built the Baltimore defense, not Ryan. Nolan will have more than a few tricks up his sleeve for Mr. Sanchez."

That moron doesn't know that it was Marvin Lewis who built the Ravens defense.

    Typical FinFan getting it wrong.

And the Ray Lewis affect hit every DC who became a HC until Ryan broke that trend last year. None of the other DCs are anything to write home about as HCs.

Nolan doesn't have Lewis, Woodson, Boulware, McCalister, Siragusa, Pryce, etc. at his disposal either.

    What a dumb fucking fan.

Sucks we won't have him for 4 games, but we are pretty good with Keller, Edwards, and Mr.Cotch catchin balls.

Don't forget LT, and hopefully LW.

Also the occasional Brad and Clown catch.

Reading Finheaven is just the icing on the cake right now... can't get the smile off my face. I give them props for admitting that our front office is blowing theirs out of the water. I feel Haynesworth for our 4th coming...

It's him. The tweet in question isn't written by him, it's a re-tweet.

In places where pot is legal w/a doctor note (eg CA) - the NFL can still suspend stoners. Personally I could care less if Holmes goes for the hippie lettuce - as long as he is making clutch passes for the Jets - who cares?

NFL doesn't have to. In Cali, the courts have backed employers who have fired employees for failling drugs tests.

Just got home... wow, great job from Tanny! This also gives us flexibility for next year... we re-sign whoever has the best year between Holmes and Edwards and trade the other one. Love it!

    Some more Finheaven goodness...

"Bro Im done if we keep letting the jets take all the damn good players we r gonna suck so much next year if we need a freaking WR why not bring this guy DAMNNN!!"

"WOW bud....if you think the Jets won't be a preseason AFC favorite right along with the Patriots, Colts and Chargers, you're nuts.

They have some older vets..SO DO WE. You act like LT is their main back...did you not see Greene tear it up in the Playoffs? Guess not..the guy is a beast, and he's their future.

Have you forgotten they still have draft picks to....think they might address an offensive lineman slot or two. Didn't we waste our #2 and #3 last season....pretty high picks to err on wouldn't you think?

Face it..the Jets have more talent than us at almost every position..it sucks but that's how it is right now.

Nolan won't be able to do crap with that defense if he has too many gaps in it because we don't have the talent to play the scheme yet. Dansby will not be our savior all by himself.

How well do you think any of our rookies from this years draft will do in their first season? Odds are they won't do much. It will be a year of many mistakes, and you can count on it.

So while we sit holding onto our draft picks like they're diamonds, and letting teams like the Jets trade a 3 and a 5 for high quality vets in their EARLY prime, and burning us for years to come...prepare for a loooooong draining season Bro."
