man, I just looked back at last year's Rookie QB in the AFCCG, Sanchez was 1 BLLION times better than Flacco was in last years game. This kids deserves nothing but the respect of every last damn Jets fan. Here's to next year's dominance
We took a big step in the right direction this season and his improvement at the end of the season is a huge part of that.
If there was ever a day to take the cuffs of, hindsight says today was the day.... Too bad he had those bad games that didn't allow the CS to trust him.
Thank you. We do have a lot to be proud of and learn from this run. We played alright today guys. As Jets fans, i'm ashamed of you for thinking our Superbowl run would be this easy... Rookie QB, rookie coach, young team, we'll get better. As Jet fans what made you think we'd get their easily. We will get there, it just might have to wait till next year, or two to three years down the road. I have faith, for once.
Sanchez just said that he knows how blessed he is....and that he is going to stay hungry. Thanks to a great season & things will be even better next year! Go JETS!!!!!
Mark Sanchez was outstanding today. I can't wait to see this kid mature in this league and win us some championships.
His best attribute is probably where he buys extra time. He'll make the DLs and LBs look like fools more often than not with his jukes. Hate to say this, but those moves look kinda like Favres moves in his prime. Great great awareness. A mid round OL for depth would be good. Need a first round DL, and a second round DB. That first Colts TD took the whole momentum away. If we could have pounded for a TD after the fumble recovery and took a 21-6 lead, things could have very easily been different while avoiding the Colts TD late in the first half. But Manning showed why he was the MVP, ripping apart the best passing D. Props to him, no doubt. I just hope Saints kill the Vikes!
Unlike 98 when people were saying the future was bright i didnt buy into it that much considering we had alot of veteran guys who were getting up there in age while this time where a much younger team and our rookie QB will only get better and out rookie coach aswell. It was a good game but unfortunetely we didnt come to play in the 2nd half, the colts did.
obviously I'm pretty bummed BUT we do have our QB for the decade, and that's a first-man I love the fucking NY Jets, especially on the second quarter tonight I knew it was gonna be tough against Peyton, and I was right
Sanchez, in the biggest game of the year, had his best game of the year. He played incredible. We have a franchise qb.
As do you. I just wish we had been able to stay full strength. It's the only way we were going to compete with you today, and the 2nd half showed that.
Folks, you cannot put a price tag on the experience Sanchez received during this deep playoff run. Think about it, he has experienced everything this game has to offer short of a trip to the Super Bowl. That will pay HUGE dividends moving forward.
I thought, overall, he had his best game as a pro. He seems to be a good big-game quarterback. Great job, Sanchez.
