Tebow looks awful as a pocket passer.

I was at the game last night. (Lower section, 40 yard line; the only reason I mention this is because I had a good view of the field and the entire plays.)

Tebow definitely held the ball for too long on several plays, even on a couple of plays that should've been throw-aways. Obviously, the INT (and the dropped INT) were both very bad.

But what infuriated me was that after Sanchez's pick - the one that bounced off of Hill's chest - a large "Tebow" chant broke out. A few fans around me looked at each other, as if we were all thinking Really? Then, when Tebow converted that 3rd & 16 by scrambling, they chanted again. Granted, it was a nice run that kept the drive alive, one of the reasons it was 3rd & 16 to begin with was because of Tebow. On the next set of downs (after that 3rd & and Long conversion), it came down to 3rd & 17.

I just wanted to share this experience, because THIS is exactly what long-time Jets fans didn't want to happen: Tebots blindly chanting Tebow's name when it couldn't be more obvious that Sanchez is the better QB. Is that really support? Home field advantage?

I think it's become sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point. Almost like an in-joke that the whole stadium is in on -- the idea of Tebow chants at the slightest mistake. It doesn't take but about 4 guys chanting somewhere near you (or a microphone) to sound like a chant.

I find it hard to believe that non-Jets fans will be filling the stadium. If the Jets win a reasonable amount, then it won't be a problem. If the Jets lose a bunch of games, then who cares anyway?

It's all up to Mark Sanchez -- seems like Tebow has set the bar pretty low for him. It would be more "pressure" if Tebow were passing well. And there's a sympathy factor that can rally support around him.

The fact that the Jets plan to use Tebow liberally to help the team win (off the bench) should be enough for everybody to just relax and stop worrying about what might be.

I have Bronco season tickets, and had to endure countless idiotic Tebow supporters all season last year.

The most amazing moment came during the first Patriot game, on the play where Tebow took a cool 29 yard sack, which just happens to be the longest sack in NFL history. Some guy a few rows behind, completely decked out in full Tebow gear, stands up and starts screaming 'Why wont they block for Tebow?!? Why wont this team play for Tebow?!?'

He actually teared up. I was speechless.

I loved it when the Broncos went on the 6 game winning streak and you disappeared, only to comeback again hardcore right before the Steeler game and disappear again after!

It was beautiful. I can't wait for this season to actually start.

Sorry, all flags have been used on all of the desperate attempts to minimize Tebow's obvious flaws as a passer. You will have to throw your hat.

Lol...I'm sure that guy decked in Tebow gear probably followed Tebow from Florida and moved to Denver to watch him play.

More likely, he was probably a Bronco fan, tired of all the losing the Broncos endured before Tebow took over...Perhaps you enjoyed the 5-22 ride Orton took you on prior to that.

Just because Orton sucked a journeyman QB dumped on Denver from Chicago where he was a below average QB. Not sure how that makes Tebow good?

They both suck Tebow little less sucky but had some help with stupid plays and two 50 + yard field goals to win games. Bottom line Orton is not a starter quality QB in this league an neither is Tebow. Orton is a great back-up though reminds me of Kitna.

I'd rather have Orton backing up Sanchez than Tebow, if we're talking strictly QBing. Obviously Tebow brings other shit to the table, that's why we acquired him.

I'd like to see how many execs across the league see Tebow as a QB in this league.

Extremely poorly if his trade is any indication. Every team in the league had a shot at Tebow, and only two teams were willing to give up a measly 4th round pick for him.

Good punters command more than a 4th these days...

I'm sure you would rather have Orton. Since he'd never ever have a chance to start. For one he's too old. The Jets won't replace their young starter for an older broke dick QB. The fanbase would riot. Tim is just young enough to pose a threat because he still can develop whereas Orton cannot. He is what he is.
