we probably don't need those runs if he is making more plays through the air or not taking horrendous sacks. It's nowhere near as bad as a year ago, we had Chaz Schilens starting a year ago. Cumberland was still raw, Hill was always hurt. Our receivers aren't great but we are light years ahead of where we were a year ago healthy talent wise PLUS we have a better OL. Idzik wanted him to play, rex wanted mark and Idzik wanted Geno. if it was up to rex mark would have been starting that game getting ready to start the season. Not really, Geno kept TB in that game. He had a lot of drops that night, so did Brady but was he throwing 3 picks in crunch time? we would have beaten TB, at NE, vs. Buf, had a chance against Ten, had a chance against Pitt, probably lost to Atl & definitely Cincy(as that wasn't about the QB) and beaten NE at home. 4 definite wins, 2 good chances, 2 definite losses.
