Not to be a negative nancy or anything but these numbers still mean garbage.

Sanchez does not run the same type of offense as those guys so the numbers comparatively mean nothing

If Sanchez played like he did against Baltimore every game hed be the most "responsible" qb in nfl history !!!

And he would also suck at his job. Sanchez's job is to make smart plays, where as those other guys jobs are just to make plays.

Im loving what Sanchez is doing, but it really is a meaningless comparison. It would almost be like saying "Brandon Jacobs is the best HB in the nfl because the highest % of his touches are for tds out of any hb in the leauge" (completely made that up for the example since we all know Jacobs doesnt score TDs) well yeah that would happen if you only get the ball inside the red zone.

And once again those numbers are over an 8 game span.

Im sure if you took those same #s over say week 4-12 of last season it would show an entirely different story. I really dont see the point in when guys make a story over such a small sample size. Although it is rather refreshing to see the trend and improvements

What they're talking about is Sanchez protecting the ball even with about a 30 pass per game avg the past two games. He's done well putting where only our guys could get it, with that 1 lucky exception.

That pass to Keller, just the whole play was like smoking a pipe filled with Jet crack.

Jets were 6-2 in their last 8 games, Indy were 4-4, NO were 5-3 and NE 5-3. If that helps.

we'll see today if that's true...last year he threw 5 picks in one game against the bills.

He's had two INTs turned over because the ball hit the ground (too close for comfort) and nearly threw one right to the Dolphins. I think he's done a great job protecting the ball but he hasn't been close to perfect at all.

He's a second year player, he's going to make mistakes. We're making the same mistake we made last year of putting him up on a pedestal so that we can yank it out from under him when the inevitable errors occur.

His judgement is still a bit faulty at times and he still makes bad throws now and then. As Schotty pointed out the latter will always be true, because all NFL QB's make bad throws they'd like to have back.

I'd rather have him than any other NFL QB except Drew Brees, but I recognize that there are going to be times that he makes me pull my hair out.
