But we don't get pressure when we rush 4! Pennington could pick us apart with all those 5 yard dump offs.
I love Chad Pennington but I am not worried about him at all. I cant see him doing anything against a Rex Ryan defense that is fast and forces the opposing QB to make throws into tight coverage.
It is absofreakinglutely hysterical that a Sanchez vs Henne thread turns into manlove for Pennington. The power that Chad has over some grown men is a ma zing.
To be fair, we don't really need to have the Henne vs. Sanchez argument anymore as it's clear who won that. The love of Pennington will never cease to amaze me. He was nothing more than an average QB in his time here. He did have his moments of brilliance but as a whole he didn't have a very remarkable career here.
Has anybody checked out what they're saying over at Finheaven? I can't access it right now, but I'm sure there are some hilarious things going on over there
So now they're a playoff team? This shortens the field greatly, complete negates the reason for having a WR like Marshall. They will either thrown 8 yard passes or run, Rex will have a field day with that. Are you seriously a closet Phin fan, that's the rumor??
No but they are definitely more dangerous w/ a better QB who has an elite possession receivere to throw to. Marshall is PERFECT for Chad, Marshall is not a deep threat he's a possession guy.
The Ravens didn't have a Revis. I'm more worried about Davone Bess than Marshall when the Jets play them again. And Penny has no running game to lean on in this game. Miami's run game was a fad that faded away. This isn't Chad of 02-06. If he was then I would consider him putting up a fight.
Your right about that. Chad will have success with Marshall... in every game besides the one against the Jets.
Imo this changes nothing for the Dolphins. They're still not much more than an 8-8 team, probably 7-9 at this point. They play the Titans, Bears, @Raiders, Browns, @Jets, Bills, Lions and @Patriots. Don't really understand this move
Oh, crap I forgot. This is an even numbered year! Chad will actually have a good season, and then get injured next year.
I wouldn't dismiss them, they can still run the ball and when they have more success passing that will help open the ground game. I'm not worried head to head but Miami is nit out of the race yet. I fully expect to finish ahead of them even if Marino '84 comes back BUT they are certainly more dangerous today than they were yesterday.
