I hate that everybody always has to make a carefully constructed statement that inevitably gets over analyzed. I could care less what he says because he's just saying this crap because he has to.
1. 10-21-0, 74 yards say otherwise, Nacho. Learn to perform first then talk, just like your coach does. 2. Brett Favre couldn't throw 300 yards in this offense. What makes you think Nacho will top 200 yards? Get real. 3. Schitty better GO. I've been saying that for some years. If Pennington fails in it, Brett fails in it, and now Nacho fails in it, then that should give you a very good idea about this fucking thing he calls system.
4 times (at least in the regular season)!! if the Jets D allows more than 17-20 points than I don't see the Jets likely winning and that goes without saying. Last year at new york, Brady was definitely not himself with all of the looks and pressures the Jets were bringing. I'm very interested in how this game plays out from a strategic standpoint.
mark has become enamored of the checkdown. Very Chaddish. There was an article in one of the locals where he was proclaiming that one of the things he has improved upon is his ability to check down. So now he does it in the final 2 minutes 80 yards downfield with 1 TO
Chad became even more checkdown prone than he normally is in Schotty's offense. 2007 was absolutely ridiculous, with Chad checking down exactly like Sanchez did in the first game. The difference being that Chad had enough experience to complete the passes short of a first down and Sanchez was missing some easy lobs. Something is seriously wrong with the Jets offensive scheme and the less experience a QB has the more wrong it looks.
I'm not saying it's not going to happen but why not have this attitude before the offense has a putrid game on MNF in the 1st game?
Is Sanchez going to show his O face to the Patriots?
That's a very good question. The offense looked ragged all through camp and we saw the same thing on Monday night. Why didn't Rex, Schotty and Sanchez look at the camp results and say they were unacceptable and something needed to change before the MNF game? Playing completely safe with Sanchez is going to kill the Jets just as surely as letting him go hog wild and throw 25 picks. The Jets really need to find a balance there and they need to do it soon. And they really can't afford to be benching Shonn Greene while they figure the other thing out. If he's going to kill us he's going to kill us but you can't keep Sanchez close to the vest and Greene on the bench and still score points. My vote would be to hand Greene the ball 20+ times a game and give LT another 10 touches on the ground and let Sanchez throw against the 8 men in the box that should produce if it works. You gotta take risks somewhere.
He should've said he was gonna tap Sainz's spicy spanish ass instead. At least it would've taken the attention away from how horrible the offense will be against the Patsies tomorrow.
I wish Mark would stop talking to the media about what could happen and just go out and play football and make things happen. Just show me. Don't tell me.
It's amazing, one guy has the ability to make my whole weekend; if Sanchez doesn't turn the ball over once Sunday and we are on the winning side of the scoreboard I'll go into work Monday a happy guy. The hell with breakout performances.
