I find it hilarious that this guy thinks Tom Brady is remotely close to the greatness of Sanchez. Tome Brady is not, never has been and never will be a good quarterback. Sanchez is 10x as good as Brady has ever been. The sad part is that most people will disagree with me solely because the media has hyped this disgrace to football up. Big fucking whoop, he hasnt thrown an INT in a few hundred 1yard passes. The guy flat out sucks.
Come on. We all loathe Brady, but let's get real. Is Tom Brady a better QB than Mark Sanchez? Absolutely. Will Mark Sanchez have a more distinguished career than Tom Brady? Highly Unlikely. Is Mark Sanchez a bad QB? No. He's accomplished a whole lot in his first two years. So many people have said this on this forum. Most people who say he sucks are Pats and Dolphins fans. Is Mark Sanchez a better person than Tom Brady? Absolutely. Brady is great, but he's a prick. That's precisely why Manning is far more of a national media icon than Brady ever well be. New England delenda est. :gpc: :steelers:
As someone else wrote, a difference of 64% compared to 55% is not at all insignificant. This year, for instance, it is the difference between the #8 QB and the #29 (ranked by Completion%). Also remember that the AVG is a measure of yards/attempt, not yards/completion... which combined with the completion %s would seem to indicate that Brady was throwing short completions accurately, while Sanchez has been throwing slightly deeper completions with less accuracy. Also, based on QB Rating, Brady would have ranked #7 this year, whereas Sanchez sits at #27. Brady lost some games early that season, but ended with 6 straight wins. You know the story with Sanchez. The TD/INT ratio is similar, but that is really about it. Your comparison might not be completely off base, but anyone can pick it apart if they really want to.
^(continued) ...but before I miss the point of you post, I'm sure plenty of people were saying that Brady wasn't SuperBowl ready then too. Only one sure way to get past that...
Oh well. I guess that's it then. There's probably no point in showing up. If some idiot reporter from the Globe says it, it must be true.
I agree with a lot in this article, except for when he said that Sanchez is not at least good. I agree that he's no Brady or Vick or Big Ben, but I think he is good enough to help us win. He is just not good enough to carry the team
He might be good enough on Sunday and that is really all that matters. Its the Pats nightmare scenario: pats fans talking trash for weeks - just to get lit up by Mark Sanchez at home in the playoffs when your team is 9 pt favorites....
What Sanchez lacks in experience, he more than makes up for it in character. Brady would be wise to learn from him in relation to his character. In regards to only big-time QBs winning the Super Bowl, one only needs to check the winners. By the way, how many did Marino win?
This article could have made roughly the same point without bringing out the Aiden angle. Really classless IMO.
Agreed, very low class... I can't even use the word classless, it was far worse than that. No need whatsoever to start the article using a kid that died as an entree to rip Sanchez. Disgusting. Despicable, really.
