here here. or maybe we can give the seahawks one of the comp picks and they can take him, either way he can walk home from there. shit, do you think the coach would want him. go:jets:
bwahaha...... this statement shows you're Teboner and full of shit. Timmy's absolutely dreadful preseason performance reunited with the OC that drafted him, and a system that has produced offensive success for the past decade (Matt Cassel anyone) made even the lowly Mark Sanchez look like Johnny U. The Jets already had a sloppy inaccurate QB that won in the playoffs..... but that guy did it FOUR times. Let it go dude......
I just hope that unlike Mark, Geno can learn from his mistakes and understand his limitations. Do not throw the ball into traffic esp in the red zone. Mark never learned that he keeps trying to thread the needle and the fact is he isn't good enough to do this. Either is Geno at least for now. You do what's going to be successful and put points up on the board and avoid turnovers. And if there is a good player on one side do not throw the ball in his area. Like Mark did last year against Houston. And got two balls tipped and one picked off by JJ Watt. Actually I did see two of Tim's pre-season games this year and he was horrible. But did play better in the second game and had two TD passes. It was a no win situation for TT in New England. He's not going to play as a Qb there period. Even Ryan Mallette doesn't get into games and has only a few pass attempts in two seasons. But the Jets last season were so horrible on offense there is no reason that Tebow should not have been given a chance to play. They had nothing to lose. If he was terrible than ok. It couldn't been worse than Mark.
Sanchez will never take another starting snap for the Jets. He can't come back until week 11 and neither he or the Jets will want to risk him getting hurt again and then being unable to get another job because of it after they cut him at the end of the season.
Hey Don, I think if healthy he will play this season unless Geno lights it up. He says he wants to play and basically show the Jets and other teams he can start as a Qb in the NFL. For me, the Jets have to go in another direction. But I have no problem playing him later in the year if there are injuries or Geno is terrible. If the Jets were so worried about him not geting injured they wouldn't put him into that exhibition game. But I personally do not criticize Rex for using him in that game. I thought it was legit to play him. They were still in the evaluation process and why not. But he was injured.
Like I said, I'm not a Tebow fan but not anti TT either. To me he's unproven. Never got a chance under Rex. Nothing to lose by playing him with Mark going into the tank the way he did. A different story at NEP. Unless you think Sanchez is in the same category as Brady. You probably do.
LOL, yes he's proven to have sucked. Get his ballsack out of your mouth. The time for Tebowballsuckers on this forum has passed. _
