Tom Brady is the only QB in the AFC to account for more TD's than Mark Sanchez, throwing and rushing. #nfl #jets
1) dumb question. Of course a QB would want 2 All Pro linemen 2) Subjective question... They have a combined 7 drops. Not "Great" 3) Revis is the best CB in the NFL, but Harris is not even a top 10 LB. He is very good, not great. 4) the ST has regressed slightly
So when do we realize that this clown is a Sanchez troll? Or do we want to accept his opinion and protect his right to be here?
Well I wouldn't say he is a troll. I agree with one of his paragraphs, not so much the other stuff. This is a fair assessment:
And this is a line too often posted when someone is too lazy to offer a counter argument. Well, not so much anymore. His anger toward Mark Sanchez aside, he actually presents something of an argument, although posting from a smartphone, I have no patience to crush it.
There is a difference between being a troll and being horribly misguided. That got lost by many around these parts at some point. If all he is a troll that will show with time. Jumping the gun on a guy who has a terrible opinion on something isn't necessarily the best policy.
I have to disagree about pocket presence. He may not be the standard 6'4" prototype, but his ability to detect and escape an unblocked rush improves every time I see the team play. And size aside, he has recovered quickly from some crushing hits. He is much more durable than I initially gave him credit for.
You know durability was something that was freaking me out for a bit with Sanchez, especially after that time he was wearing the knee brace. Of course, some of that may have been latent Pennington injury anxiety manifesting...
Just the one game in 09. He basically didn't play week 17 last year either but he was officially the starter
Agreed. I'm most impressed with his ability to avoid the rush and extend plays, also his durability. There have been a bunch of times I thought he was badly hurt, including Sunday, and he literally shakes it off and is back for the next series. As for avoiding the rush, I can't tell you how many plays he's made where I've looked at it and realized how many of our past QBs would have gotten sacked. For all the Ken O'Brien love on here, and I was a huge fan, he wasn't half as effective as Sanchez for that reason alone. Many many drives that Sanchez has kept alive would have ended with O'Brien, O'Donnell, even Vinny back there. Any of them.
Opinions are like armpits, everyone has them & sometimes they stink. Does he have a right to his opinion... YES, do you have to agree with them... NO. Has Sanchez played lights out in ANY game this season... NO.
I remember all of this shit happening with Eli Manning in his first 5 seasons. That's why I find all of this absolutely fucking retarded. Its the same movie with more success, but for some I guess this is the first time watching it.
