Sanchez seems a good dude. I hope he lands somewhere and has a career. I'd feel bad for him, but never feel bad for a guy that made millions and dated supermodels.
Well its just been announced Sanchez has been signed by the Dallas Cowboys! http://www.shreveporttimes.com/stor.../09/03/cowboys-sign-qb-mark-sanchez/89839920/
They claim no deal was reached. They said they expected to reach a deal and the NFL will be hard pressed to prove otherwise.
Dallas is a good spot for Sanchez. That team isn't too different from the 2009 Jets that carried him to the AFCCG. Defense is probably weaker but offensively they are similar, Dallas is even better though with a stud wideout in Dez Bryant in addition to the offensive line and running game. I also don't think Dak Prescott will be starting all their games. They will be calling upon Sanchez at some point out of injury or poor play
cowboys fans better hope not. Sancho is what he is. he is a journeyman qb. its been proven over and over. he very well may play, he may even win a game or two but that wont change what he is. journeyman.
well of course he's simply a journeyman level QB but they got pieces there where all they might need is a journeyman level QB to find success in that division. I'm not sold on any of their division competition as being that tough to overtake. 9-7 might win the division again. I think Sanchez could get that team to 9-7
Kind of like Fitz. Ironic that many of the fans that were clamoring for him are the same ones that were screaming for Mark's head when he was here.
Did you mean Journey Fan? Dang, I miss Gene Wilder. Great actor. Sanchez, not so much. The big apple turnover will help the Redskins win that division.
If you really believe that WOW! 100 times better? Just WOW! Fitz may be a little better than Sanchez but not by much. Statistically they are pretty similar most seasons over their careers with the differences stemming from Fitz's playing longer in last couple of years and Mark being thrown in as a rookie. Both fail the eye test big time and neither can be considered even in the top half of QB talent in the league at any point in their careers. The biggest is one has been a part of a team that won 4 playoff games, one has never sniffed the playoffs.
The biggest difference is that Fitz is a starter and Sanchez couldn't beat out a second year seventh rounder.
