There's another narrative brewing about "it was time to move on...of course he would have success in Philly considering their talent and coaching". What exactly are we saying here? It was better to dump Mark rather than improving our talent and/or coaching?
One or the other had to go and i think we could all agree that having Rex was more important moving forward than sanchez. Imagine sanchez with a shitty defense here.. We'd be the jaguars
I'm surprised that no one brought up the difference in arm strenght between yesterday and his last year playing here. The heat on those passes were was coming through the screen like 4D. In fact, several of the many drops (INTs included) can be attributed to how hard he tossing that rock.
Bullshit! He had to go for one reason only "The Buttfumble". Fans and ownership alike were embarassed. And that's me giving Idzik the benefit of the doubt as no one whose job is to evaluate talent can sit watch Sanchez and Geno run an offense and come away with Geno being the better player.
My point exactly. There are many factors that go into replacing players not simply do you have a guaranteed better player lined up as the replacement.
This is what I was going to say. Apparently if you think that Mark is better off in Philly than he was in NY than you're furthuring a "narrative" or that you're a "hater." Like I've said, I supported Mark for a long time, but it clearly wasnt the fit here that it is in Philly. He's being coached better, has a better line, and more talent around him. I think he has a real chance to put some impressive numbers.
Wow.. Bro you dont even believe yourself right now.. The ONLY reason he's gone is the butt fumble ?!? Lmao that was the icing on the cake.. Meaning we've dealt with plenty other bull shit.. His number of turnovers speaks for its self .. But since u wanna bring up the butt fumble, him putting his face in the dirt as the patriots ran for 6 after ALLLLLLL the bullshit mistakes he made as a jet deserved to be his last straw
If the Jets had not become a national joke because of said play, his chances of still being here would have increased expedentially IMO. Once that play happened, I knew he was a goner.
Nooooo. You don't understand. If Mark does well, everyone will figure out that our front office and development and coaching completely sucks. Right now it's a secret. We need Mark to fail so everyone knows it was him all along, and that we're the best 2-8 team ever, and that Rex is a great head coach and defensive genius.
There's the difference between you and I. To me the 300 yards and zero TOs are meaningless. He could have easily not have 300 and 2 TOs and I would have still come away thinking he played well. While you are looking at the box score, I'm looking at the command he had of the offense , the way he smartly moved around in the pocket to by time, the RPMs on his balls, ball placement, making the proper reads, going through his progressions...etc.
Yes, Luck is better than Manning. He's better in December and January when it matters, and he's better under pressure by miles, and orchestrating that monster play off comeback last year, with his most important receiver injured, which Manning would of never done. Manning is at least 50% his weapons right now. Put him on a team that doesn't have pro bowl receivers and tight ends all over the place that can get 50 YAC twice a game and it would be obvious.
I think he would have done much better had the front office given him better weapons to grow with. I honestly didnt see how mark could do good here with this offense, thats why i am not against him now, i knew the potential but it wasnt going to happen here the way this system & roster was set up. Therefore, like i said sanchez wouldn't have been able to prosper here the way he will in Philly. I feel the same way about Geno. However i wont sit here and act like mark and geno both didnt have PLENTY of dumb ass decisions they made here at QB
Bullshit again. He was released well before the roster was finalized. We didn't even have the draft yet. And the "system" we have now is the "system" Mark is most comfortable in.
Lmao wow.. Luck is better than Peyton based off one game?! The cheifs fucked that game up themselves luck should have gotten destroyed plus Charles got hurt .. I mean good for luck but come onn
Mark wasn't going to succeed here because they didn't know how to maximize his talents. They tried restricting his play on the field, they thought he was Tom Brady and he could make a gourmet meal out of chicken shit pieces. Instead they should have looked at him like Troy Aikman and put a good line around him with reliable players on the outside and a decent running game. Glad to see he balled out last night, it was great watching him perform. Just another reason why Idzik needs to go. Keep on piling up those stats Mark.
