Plaxico Burress, Santonio Holmes, Thomas Jones, LaDanian Tomlinson, Shonn Greene, Dustin Keller, Jericho Cotchery, Braylon Edwards. Alan Faneca, Brandon Moore, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Nick Mangold, Damien Woody. Just stop talking.
No, Trent isn't better than Marino but having the poise to win and play well against play off teams on the road is a huge plus over a being a huge choke artist. Also, the difference between Romo and Sanchez isn't the difference between Trent and Marino. If Sanchez keeps playing like he's playing, he's better than Romo
I'm not a sanchez hater. don't broad brush me in like that. I just honestly think that parting ways made all the sense int he world from both sides. I know you wanted to restructure, but really, seriously, think about this. was sanchez going to be happy being an afterthought here? was he going to have nearly the amount of momentum he's got in philly here? were the jets in position to keep trying with a poor playing top 5 pick playoff winner who hasn't nearly lived up to his hype since that point? especially one that had an injury the previous year? all him being here was gonna do was waste everybodies time. but alright, CONVINCE ME. convince me that he was worth keeping. i think doing so would've been a bad idea, but why would that have worked out not only in snachez's favor but that of the jets too? I can't see that scenario. its not denial, its not hating, its just me recognizing that sanchez didn't work out here and that everything said to move on from him.
Seriously. You cannot tell me Sanchez is better than Romo. You just can't. He's not going to keep this up, because we all know he isn't good. Romo is good. He's very good. He gets an undeserved rap.
Burress, out of Prison, old. Holmes, the cancer, they kicked out of a fucking huddle. Braylon Edwards? a nice player to be sure, Cotchery, good player...but Austin/Bryant....nope. Keller? AYFKM? and as I last checked the ol aren't skill position players. Shonn, good player... but we get to the crux of the issue,. Any skill position player you named was either Ald, or a B: cast off for a reason. And the ones that started life as Jets, are B list players at best.
it was purposeful hyperbole on my part, but still you can't deny that opinions on him were pretty cut and dry. those playoff wins have given sanchez nearly as much rope from fans as it did Rex for some, while others never wanted to see him again
I agree, he does get an undeserved rap, and so is the rap you're giving Sanchez. The difference is Sanchez has won play off games. If he keeps playing like he's playing and he continues his old ways come play off time, than saying he's better than Romo is fair.
Dude I have countless of posts arguing with haters about bringing him back prior to him getting cut. You are welcomed to go back and read them. I'm not about to get into that now. Just having fun right now. You can start here: http://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/are-you-sure-you-really-want-sanchez-off-the-jets.79915/
Yeah I haven't been there in a while. I did both at the same time and I took notes, but I was hammered, I lost the notes and I can't remember!! _
