the ultimate power was Idzik who was controlling everything. If rex had power mark would have been starting and would still be here. Stevie wonder could see he competition was a complete sham.

I am happy w/ geno's progress, I hope he turns out to be really good and we never look back but if not it will be frustrating.

    No it isn't, liar.

You're the one who said he wasn't going to post on any football-related threads - that you were only here for the NBA thread.

    Another lie, liar.

I find it unbelievable that Sanchez may have been playing with a damaged shoulder and the Jets didn't notice.

He looked like he had no arm strength in 2012, for sure. Remember all those interceptions where he looked late by a second or so ? An injured shoulder would explain alot.

Why haven't you gotten your hands on a Kyle Wilson card yet?

Sanchez is absolutely amazing during the warmup. Unbelievable sideline performance!
He's got this season's SB MVP written all over him.

Sanchez is a career backup. This is a classic case of the game finally slowing down for a guy when there is suddenly ZERO pressure on him. If he ever has to play any significant length of time for the eagles this season, they are likely in trouble.

yeah, playing for his career is clearly zero pressure. If he stunk it up he would never have gotten a shot, he was playing for a starting job next year and he has earned that chance somewhere and if Foles gets hurt or struggles he'll take Philly deep into January.

He hasn't earned the chance to start anywhere until he is actually starting somewhere . . . and right now, he is a backup quarterback behind one of the more promising young quarterbacks in the NFL. And yeah, compared to his previous tenure as the anointed starting quarterback of the New York Jets (you know, a situation in which people actually expected him to not play like complete and utter dogshit), he virtually has zero pressure on him.

he was playing for his career, he had a ton of pressure. different than game pressure but pressure nonetheless.

Foles has not looked great this preseason and into week 1. there have already been rumblings about Mark being the future there but keep hiding behind your misguided hatred b/c you don't understand what you are watching.
