Don't bring up the interceptions as punts meme again, Junc is already really confused about that one. By the time you're done he'll have told you that not only was Sanchez a good QB for the Jets but he was also one of their best punters.

see junc, i am an x's and o's guy. i like to know what happened and why. i look at how the offense changed in play calling and focus, i look at how a qb can make a particular type of throw or not. and how consistently they can put the ball where it is supposed to be. how often does the qb throw the ball to the receivers back shoulder on a crossing route vs. a zone defense. how often does he throw an outlet route so that the receiver does not have to break stride vs. how often he throws it back shoulder so the receiver loses all momentum.

we have had this discussion a number of times and its been nothing but frustrating because you dont grasp these sorts of things. and that probably makes sense being it you are not an x's and o's type of guy. but let me break something down to you... this is an x's and o's kind of game and without real understanding of that you are just some dummy with a towel in his back pocket throwing high 5s to his buddies because of the nfl being so AWESOME.

I don't buy those rankings one bit, if they were that good at run blocking why did one of the best RBs in the league struggle most of the season?

why would you ever get involved? haven't I humiliated your weak arguments enough through the years?

No you are not and you have proven that. you have never broken down tape, you have never shown an understand of this game in any way. You like scapegoats, you like to blame certain players and you show your bias/lack of understanding in this posts. when you start to actually break things down I'll believe it.

I have an understand of X's and O's, I am not going to sit here and break down a play or pretend to know every role of every player on every play like certain guys do(not necessarily here but on another site).

Well he ran for over 1300 yards despite having 4 of his starting offensive lineman out from anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks. And it's not as though the Eagles stretched the field much to keep defenses honest (at least not under Sanchez, as Maclin will tell you). Forget the rankings, surely you agree that the individual talent on the Eagle offensive line is top 2 or 3 (I think it's solidly top 2) in the league.

I don't necessarily agree with that especially haven't watched them and seeing Mark under a lot of pressure especially the last 3-4 weeks.

McCoy's YPC went down almost a full yard.

Trying to comprehend this- a year ago McCoy averaged over 5 YPC and Philly was ranked 1st, this year he losses almost a full yard and they move only down to 2nd?

The Ol was good with Mark, they weren't great and considering they struggled earlier in the year to be ranked 2nd overall seems crazy.

My guess is that PFF focused more on the individual grades of the starters rather than knock their grade down tremendously for the backups who played poorly. Bottom line is 4 out of 5 Eagle starters received AP All Pro votes. Peters is unquestionably one of the premier LTs in the game, I don't even think you can deny that. Lane Johnson gave up one sack in his 12 starts. Evan Mathis was first team AP All Pro last year and probably would have been this year if he didn't miss games. This is a loaded front when healthy.

Answer my question to you numb nuts.
    Can Nacho elevate team mates?
You knew he couldn't so what do you do? Stay away from the topic by saying "you can't read" , or some distraction. Junc, you do not remotely know football. Anyone who does, I'm sure laughs at you. Your so comical. You have never played have you?
    Madden doesn't count.

The OL was good, no issue w/ any of their offensive talent. Offensively they were a playoff team.

It was third down. It was basically a punt.

Funny how Pitt shut us down and then all of sudden late game we march over their defense only at the GL not to score. Same logic you are using, I am using.

Considering two QBs are on the field, saying he was the worst isn't saying anything. Again, his team lost a game by 3 when the kicker missed two makable FGs AND his defense never gave him the ball back.

We handed off every play because that was our strategy all year. It's how we were winning and it's what we did when we wanted to ice the game on 4th down. The defense let the Jets walk over them on the final drive. It happens.

The Jets D held Pitt to 17 at their home. I think 17 is a reasonable amount. And Pitts score was given up by Sanchez. Yet I see this excuse "if the Jets D made a stop", so I'm just using it in the same scenario, "if the Chargers D made a stop".

Realistically though, Rivers played good enough to win the game. He could have played better but there were things out of his control that caused the Chargers to lose including things in his control. I'm just giving him the same leeway I see Sanchez given on here.

I think Sanchez in 2010 played good. Besides that, I don't think he really fit and the more I look at him play, the more I blame Tanny for not having a veteran and going all in with Sanchez. I think playing to avoid mistakes was probably thew worst thing for him developmentally.

Of course, lol. There are very, very few people who think Sanchez is any good . . . and all 5 of them can be found on this message board.

you were on here talking about how big of a deal it was for phillys defense to lose a player and you dont even know what the fuck he DOES for that defense.

i tend not to watch jets games for the film breakdown, i have to do that for other things. i try to watch it just to be fun. but when you watch something certain things will always stand out to you. guys who cant throw a pass on the proper side of a receiver blatantly stand out.

you dont grasp what the term accuracy means.

i am not looking for scapegoats, i am trying to get you to understand that no matter how many ways you spin it that mark sanchez just isnt very good. ive been saying it since the day we drafted him and i really havent ever been proven wrong.

you are the one who is looking for excuses and likes to sensationalize everything. whether it be the blind allegiance to guys like sanchez, herm edwards and brian schottenheimer. or the blatant disregard for the amazing things that guys like joe namath, peyton manning and others have accomplished.

youre a douchebag with an affinity for stirring the pot.

It'll be interesting to see who Chip brings back in 2015. Foles is still on his original rookie contract which has one more year unless they give him an extension. Which means that even though he was the Eagles starter and had a big season in 2013) including making the Pro Bowl) he is making under 700k per. Mark, I think made about 4 mil this past season. Imo Mark goes. I think Chip has had it with turnovers.
