Umm it was a sanchez td, that's a fact, not my opinion. I know it's causing you epic butthurt but you gotta accept it and move on.
You don't get it, dummy. I'm rooting for Sancho. Always have. I have eyes in my head, though, and I know what I'm seeing. And it ain't a quarterback strapping his team on his back. It's a team asking its quarterback to do the absolute minimum necessary. At least on that 13 yard drive. You don't have to defend the guy's honor like a Spartan, soxx. He's not your older brother.
Absolute minimum last week right? We are barely into this game so you can't tell anything. So far it's been 4 passes, 5 runs, so let's not get to far ahead.
"At least on this drive." Tell me what you think that sentence means. Aaaannndd offensive genius Chip Kelley dials up a 3rd and eighteen draw play for his future hall of fame QB, who again executes it flawlessly. Eagles with a healthy fifty yards or so of offense this quarter. Kind of like watching the Jets' offense, with shittier uniforms.
So since Mark's team is playing a tough opponent, this game can't count toward his evaluation, right?
How many years do I have to wait until we can all look back and agree that Sanchez was an average QB and all this "he rocks"/"he sucks" is a distant memory?
Pretty conservative gameplan thus far. They're gonna really need to push it in the second half if they want to win.
Eagles are a run driven team, always have been under Kelly. Sanchez needs a running game to keep defenses playing 8 in the box. Seattle thus far has shut down the running game and Sanchez is 4.9 for 28 yards and 1 for 6 on third downs. if it wasn't for a gutsy call by Kelly on 4th and 1 The Eagles would only have 3 points on the board, 0 if the gutsy call hadn't worked.
Shady just lost a fumble. This means not all Mark's teammates are playing at 100% efficiency. This is strike 2 -- second item that disqualifies this game. At now Eagles are down by more than 7. Forget it, it's official: This game can not be used to qualify Mark's performance.
In all seriousness as much as I think Mark is a backup at best, if we could keep him for $2M, I'd be all for it. Sanchez supporters forget that Jets would have to pay him $8M, not 2. His level of play and any reasonable expectations would not justify this sort of money.
