Thats pretty ignorant if you ask me. He doesn't give a hoot because of what? Because the offense struggled? because his offensive line gave him no protection? thats his fault now?.......Get real. To say the guy does not care is ridiculous, he was always the first guy in the building, last one out here in NY. He also hosted the Jets West during his vacation time here. The guy cares....thats a stupid statement to say he does not.
he was playing hurt late in 2011, not an excuse as he kept playing and is judged on how he played but he was not near healthy. 2012 I throw out, he had a deer in the headlights look all year w/ the crew of receivers he was throwing to. some fans actually just want to win, we don't care about meaningless fantasy #s like most fans.
Terrible decision compounded with the ball dying mid flight as it did many times in 2012. The questionable decisions might still be in his blood but so far this year the ball is not dying like that anymore.
I agree that he was solid in the Texans game. However, my comments pertained to Sanchez's career as a collective whole. This is his sixth season in the NFL (his 5th actually playing). He has over 60 career starts under his belt. So far, he has accounted for 86 total TDs (74 passing TDs and 12 rushing TDs) and 95 total turnovers (73 INTs and 22 fumbles lost). That is simply too turnover prone, no matter how you slice it. He just has to cut down on his mistakes. They kill him. (By the way, he has 48 total fumbles for his career, which is remarkably high for a predominately pocket-passer.) As for this year, he's only played three games so far this season. He looked decent in his first two weeks and terrible last week. It's obviously way too early to make any definitive statements about where he goes from here. As I wrote earlier, we'll see where we are with him in 7-10 weeks. It should be interesting.
this has been alot of fun to read. some pretty good posts. i liked many in the past 3 pages. and then there was a bunch of jumble excuse making tomfoolery going on as well. i didnt like those posts.
there is no place for tomfoolery in a thread about Mark Sanchez on a Jets message board. This is serious bidness.
and you know that he cares how? he told you , i suppose. I base it on what i read about him in a book and by how he conducts himself in a game.
Finally saw the GB game. Sanchez was bad but he was not 2012 bad. Curious to see if he bounces back or let's this bad game linger.
lmfaooo @ "we" considering WE just won...you're talking about Philly... that's not cool bro. Violation.
I just had a dream that Sanchez gave the other team 28 points before halftime. Seriously! But thank goodness it was just a dream. Ima usin Tapatalkie.
he wasn't bad in the first half, he was bad in the 2nd half when the game was over. anyone who thinks he looked like 2012 Mark has no clue. He and Philly will bounce back. it's more like 2010 at NE 45-3 and we all know how he bounced back after that one.
Yeah, we lost 6-10 to the freaking Fish the next week. Nice bounce back ... as you already know I hate losing to the fish ...
went from 45-3 to whipping the Pats in the playoffs on the road in the div rd for our biggest win in franchise history outside of 1968.
you guys are referring the game on the road against the defending AFC champs where Mark led us back from a 10 pt 4th qtr deficit and gave us a lead late? the game Hill dropped what may have helped us clinch the game in regulation? you are going to harp on one bad play when he did so many good things after that. Typical.
