give it till after the dallas game. thats 1 middling opponent and 2 good opponents from now. the dust will settle and philly will have a better idea what they have at qb.

that said, sanchez still sucks a fat hairy cock.

I'd rather a guy make mistakes in that situation than in a close game.

no one will hold a garbage time INT against him if they go on and make a nice run.

The Eagles D was DESTROYED by Rodgers and the Packers. Even if Mark brought his A Game the Eagles were toast. Of course he did not, and the Packers rolled. It does make you wonder how the Jets played them so well Week 2. Same with Patriots. Back to Mark though: He should be fine.

they are very different team since we played them. they'd score 70 on us now.

Very true. As for Mark and the Eagles, if they can take care of the Titans on Sunday and get a win on Thanksgiving vs the Cowboys, they can be in the driver's seat in the NFC East. Easier said than done, but they are capable.

just win Sunday, unfortunately sloppy play in garbage time makes everyone forget about how well he was playing and pretend like it's 2012 all over again. Just go out and play well and get a win, should be able to split vs. Dallas. if they split vs. Dallas they should win division.

Mark Sanchez was hit or miss but mostly miss after he took those early shots in the game.

Where have we seen that trend? Hmmm, 2011 and 2012 come to mind. When he's confident and protected, he is a promising player. When he gets drilled and that stinger flares up, the guy plays erratic.

The Eagles will likely beat Tennessee, but they have 4 division games, which are always the toughest matchups for most teams, and they play the Seahawks.

Assuming he doesn't get drilled by somebody in the Tits game, he has two weeks to heal the stinger enough to gain his confidence again. But teams know where to hit Sanchez in order to turn him into a wet noodle, and you can bet they will be gunning to hit him hard enough to snap his head to the right. House money.

They will also see all the over throws, the passes that shouldn't have been made and were dropped by the other team (you know they're not superfans so they actually pay attention to "made up information".)
They will evaluate how he didn't cover up the ball, and that 6 turnovers in 10 quarters is who he's been over his career.
NFL scouts won't make excuses for him....NFL teams looking for starters won't be making excuses for him.
Kelly left him in the game for 1 reason, continued evaluation and to see how he handled adversity...slumped shoulders, glazed eyes.

Your wrong TDK...Sanchez's confidence took a blow for sure. He always takes 3 steps back when he takes a tough loss.
So don't bank of him being fine because Chip Kelly will pull his ass for Matt Barkley if has more turnovers galore

you know he took a million hard shots in '09 and '10 too, right? including in that 2010 title game where he nearly led us back from 24-0. that "fumble" for the TD was a blindside shot and a huge hit.

2011 he rebounded, had a mostly positive year that ended on a bad note but the entire team stunk late in that year.

    2012 was a disaster.

he got hit helmet to helmet multiple times, should have been flags so that's where and how to hit him?

    should beat Ten
    should split w/ Dal
    toss up w/ Sea
should beat NYG(though Tiki just said Coughlin should be fired so that means they will go on a run)
    should beat Was

and they will see all the drops too.

he has 1 non garbage time TO that was his fault. stop it.

so Kelly didn't evaluate film on him? why did he run to sign him the second he was released? you make no sense.

one great quality he had earlier in his career(when he had talent around him) was to bounce back from bad games.

    2009:
awful at NO, excellent at Miami
awful vs. Buf, good at Oak
awful at NE, good vs. Car

    2010:
poor vs. Bal, great vs. NE
poor vs. GB, great at Det
had poor 3 game stretch vs. Cin, at NE, vs Mia then bounced back w/ excellent game at Pitt

Sanchez isn't nearly as pocket aware as Big Ben and we saw how much pressure Tennessee had on Ben Monday. It will be a good test for Sanchez, the Eagles will win the game most likely because they are the better team and the Titans are starting a rookie in his 4th start who should still be in development rather than starting (but who aside from a pick looked pretty good against the Steelers and the Eagles do have one of the worsts pass defenses in the league, so who knows?).

We will see. He definitely had the 09/10 look on MNF and the 2012 look on Sunday. We will see who shows up this week.

    Junc,
LOL, there you go with the Helmet to Helmet thing, incidental...BTW there was incidental helmet contact in yesterdays game on a couple hits on Big Ben, no flags either....
I swear you all will make any excuse, Helmet to helmet will almost never get called if the initial contact isn't the helmet to helmet...get over it.
I swear, National flag football league mentality of some folks.

Junc, you're the only person calling Sunday's game a good game...he stunk. and yes they will also see the dropped passes, everyone has them...they will also see how he got rattled after being hit a couple of times. Once he'd been hit passes were off target, he was over throwing and missing targets and making bad decisions.
Mark has no Junk time this season, none. Foles is on the mend and Sanchez keeps playing like this and he'll be back on the bench and a 2nd stringer label for life.

No one is debating this Junc. You fail to mention the brutal hits Mark took in 2011 and in 2012. He's become a QB that is easily rattled after a few hits. That's the way it is, legal hits or illegal it's not going to matter. Any hits to Mark will cause him to fold like a lawn chair.

I vividly remember the shot at Pitt in 2012 and that did change things but he did bounce back w/ a good game the following week and the season really turned offensively the following week when Holmes went down and he was missing Holmes and Keller- his only 2 vet reliable targets.

I think his poor play had less to do w/ big hits than you think.

it wasn't incidental, was a big time shot to the head on both hits. should have been flagged.

says the guy doing nothing but making excuses when Mark succeeds.

those calls would not have changed the game, GB was crushing them either way but he played pretty well in the 1st half before it became garbage time.

I didn't say it was a good game, losing that badly is never a good game. folks like you are saying Mark was why they lost the way they did and that's just not the case.

I love the discussion of missed passes but not drops, interesting how that works out.

Just to make sure I understand you, Junc, etc. correctly....

    1) only "non-garbage time" plays count
    2) there must be no questionable calls (or non-calls) from refs
    3) Sanchez's team must not be trailing by more then... 7 (?) points
    4) every player on Mark's team must perform at 100% efficiency
    5) The opponent must not be stronger than...??? (AZ, DET, DAL, NO ??) So games against GB (NE, DEN, SD ??) don't count.

If any of the above conditions are not met, no bad decision/execution on Mark's part counts.
Does that about sums it up?

I wounder if Mark will again make an appearance at the famous Geno diner in Philli and a radio mike accidentally being at the same time will record overjoyed fans cheering for him.

I also wondr where is the enlightening 3-hour/2 days conversation about Mark and the Jets that I enjoyed so much last week on both NY radio shows. I'm really looking forward to the follow up.

The Pitt hit changed the entire game. Mark drove us right down the field I believe on the first possession. Woodley blasted Mark and Mark didn't play well the rest of the game. In 2012, Mark didn't play another good game until the Indy game against Luck - but it was clear he wasn't the same player. Of course Holmes going down was a big deal as well as any other weapons lost.

BTW the game after Pitt - Mark completed 45% of his passes and tossed 2 INTs. We won the game, but to say he bounced back is ridiculous.
