anyone notice how good Flacco looked last night w/ his lack of weapons? and what he had was a million times better than what mark had but he doesn't have the elite weapons he had last year.
He had Torrey Smith WIDE open on several plays and didn't even look his way. He had Ray Rice too. Flacco looked like Sanchez last year. Mark prob would of said fuck it and try and get the ball into Torrey Smith's hands even if it meant a TO. Mark had balls can't deny that.
50+ turnovers the last two years takes him out of the "effective" category. The debate as it stands now is will Sanchez ever be a starting quarterback in the NFL. That may take some doing...
You guys and Flacco kill me, no one says shit about Flacco other than he got hot at the rght moment and won what Mark never will. To think we could have had Manning and be done with all this qb bullshit.
A) it's September and he's always great in the reg season B) how do you know bal will be an elite D w/ all the losses they had?
if mark had those weapons he would have won or if mark's D gave them a chance to win the Pitt game the way the Raven D did for the Bal O in the Den game he would have had a chance.
Manning was NEVER coming here to steal the spotlight from his little brother. Everyone needs to let that one go. While I would take him on this team I do think that Flacco will prove to be the most overpaid player in the NFL.
People like to pretend A) we were going after Manning and B) we had a shot. The hiring of Sparano when we had Peyton's OC already on staff told us everything we needed to know about any chances Peyton was going to end up here.
It all came down to money. Then why did mark feel slighted with all the manning talk and got a shiny new deal that screwed us.
It's a wonder the Broncos won last night...what with their defense giving up 27 points and all. I was being sarcastic about the Ravens "elite" D. They are only "elite" against us...
We could of offered Peyton 100 mil and he still wouldn't of came here. We had no structure on offense
Den's D is shorthanded right now and they gave up 17 pts in the competitive portion of the game, I don't worry about the 10 garbage time pts.
exactly. You don't think Peyton's agent isn't going to "shop around" to raise the bar for his client vs. taking the 1st offer?
Mark would never get 11 TDs and 0 INTs in a playoff run, never! Let the Flacco comparisons die...but if you'd like do start the Shane Falco comparisons.
