i dont think he grasps how ips work though. at first it was just because hobbes left then he appeared. his true fucking colors obviously came through last night though. if i hadnt looked at the name i would have surely said it was hobbes. kind of sad really. and i am sure he will get the long one for that. instead of just taking his week and being done with it.
It appears Sanchez is "day to day". Hes the best QB on the team right now, so I hope he is under center week 1. Geno is not ready.
Best qb on team is geno and he will develop into a great QB sanchez is jus a avg qb at best and makes dum ass decisions that a qb whos been in the lg 3+ years shouldnt be making
Geno looked worse than Taco last night. Starring down every target, Amukamara said it in an interview. He would be best served to sit and learn for now imo. Throw him in if Sanchez cant revive his career. Make no mistake, Im no Sanchez fanboy, but hes the best we got right now.
if sanchez is the best nyj got then its gnna b a long dreadful season, anyway hes jus a rookie he looks bETTER THAN Sanchez wen he was a rookie waaaay more accurate and a better deep thrower and looks more poised in the pocket , also can handle the blitz better .
Yeah, its gonna be a long one. Saddle up. Not sure what youre basing that assesment on. Geno went full Orlovsky last night. Underthrows and overthrows led to picks, and he totally missed Tuck on the third. He looked a lot like Sanchez to me. He's got a lot of learning to do. He has a rocket arm I will give u that. Play Sanchez til he pisses it away, then go with Geno or GMac imo.
Sanchez sucks so bad, he's started four years and the coaches put him in with the 3rd and 4th stringers in the fourth quarter of a preseason game. It would have never happened if he wasnt one of the worst starters in the league.
Let me throw this scenario up. Sanchez is not too injured, but needs a couple weeks to heal and will be ready Week 3. Do you go back to him Week 3 or allow Geno to continue to start? Tough situation.
Completely depends on how those two games go for Geno. If he looks like he can manage a game and protect the football you stay with him, if he looks lost u go with Sanchez and give him one last kick at the can.
How did he look worse, he turned the ball over 3x in 3/4 of a game. Sanchez came in and turned the ball over playing only 2 series. It's stunning how many people are coming out of the woodwork saying that Sanchez is the best QB on the team after yet another terrible turnover. That's at least one disastrous turnover in each of his 3 pre-season games, and he barely played. Whether its Geno, Mcelroy, or Simms out there, anyone is better then Muck.
People are absolutely delusional about Sanchez on this site. Only the Wizard of Oz could have saved Mark's career--certainly not MM. The Wiz could have given him a brain, some courage, and a heart.
This. This was expected but good to confirm/know for sure Geno isn't ready. Oh well, he'll be waiting and learning which is good.
I'd rather watch the growing pains with Geno rather than watch a rerun of the Sanchez regression show from 2012. What I like about this video is it highlights the inaccuracies instead of just the turnovers like most Sanchez videos out there.
INJURY UPDATE @AdamSchefter: Jets QB Mark Sanchez has a bruised right shoulder joint, per league source.
Your right, Sanchez hasn't thrown 3 interceptions in a pre-season game this year. In fact he hasn't thrown 3 interceptions in a pre-season game. He has however thrown 3 to 5 interceptions In a regular season game 8 times in his career, including 4 times in his rookie season. His rookie season he threw 3 against the Saints, 5 against Buffalo (BUFFALO!!!!), 4 against the Patriots, and 3 against the Falcons. Against the Saints that year he threw 1 pick for every 9 attempts, against Buffalo 1 out of ever 6 passes was picked, against New England 1 out of every 5 passes was picked, and against ATL one out of every 10 passes was picked. Using your logic that your applying to Smith in the Pre-Season in his FIRST start Sanchez should have been benched his rookie season and never seen the field again. Actually in thinking about that, maybe you ARE right. Sanchez Should have been benched and never seen the field again.
Rest him this week, then get him back to practice the week before the Buccaneers game. Hope it is possible.
