After this game, I don't understand how anyone who watches professional football can say Sanchez does not deserve to be benched. I don't care if you think Tebow won't be any better, that isn't the point, the point is that the current starting quarterback sucks and doesn't deserve to be starting. Sanchez deserves to lose his job, this is the one thing he has earned with this team. He is inaccurate, has poor pocket awareness, he is a poor leader, he doesn't take care of the ball, he makes rookie mistakes in his 4th season, Mark Sanchez is simply a bad quarterback, a career backup and nothing more. He has no attributes or skills that come anywhere close to making him an elite quarterback or even a top half of the league quarterback. I watch other NFL games, and nearly every other QB looks better than Sanchez.
Agreed. Where is the one clown on here who was saying that he would take Sanchez over 15 other starting QBs or something.
Here come the Tebots in full force. Nevermind the fact that the fucker can't pass the ball. This team with Sanchez is terrible. This team with Tebow is 3-13.
At this point it's time to give Tebow a chance, the sooner people see Tebow isn't the answer the sooner we can get rid of both of these guys and look for a real QB.
Yes, I made it too vague. My bad. Tebow needs to be used where he has an option to run or throw. When Tebow is in, we need to try a screen or something and get Tebow in open space, where he is at his best. On a side note, Greene has to lose 5-10 pounds because he should have had an 80 yardish TD today.
We already know what we have in Sanchez. Tebow cant possibly be any worse and you are nothing short of ignorant if you think otherwise.
Tebow doesn't inspire jack shit. At this point, everyone knows exactly what he is...a guy who doesn't have the tools to play QB in the NFL. Given the team's situation, it's reasonable to discuss bringing him in, but this Messiah shit is ridiculous.
I would even take certain backup quarterbacks over Sanchez. I would take Matt Moore over Sanchez, I would take someone like a Jason Campbell over Sanchez, perhaps even Tavaris Jackson. I watch NFL games all the time as I am sure many here do, SNF MNF, other televised games, and I watched other QBs play, and even ones that by conventional wisdom are not considered as good as Sanchez or do not possess the same notoriety. I see these lesser known, less respected quarterbacks make big plays, show command of their offenses, look like they belong in the NFL. I don't see this from Sanchez. He doesn't look like he belongs in the NFL, he looks like he belongs in the 4th pre season game or on the bench. He has no command on the field, no command in the locker room, he is a perpetual victim on the field, he never scares opposing defenses, he is the one who is constantly scared, he is the victim, he is not the one who knocks *walter white glare* How can anyone in their right mind honestly believe that Sanchez will ever lead this team to a Super Bowl? Are these people that susceptible to the brainwashing of marketing campaigns? Do they watch the Sanchez commercials, buy the jerseys, see him on the cover of magazines and actually think this adds to his credibility? Sanchez is a fraud, a bust, a waste of a 1st round pick, he is not the future, he is the despair of hope in the future.
AMEN..... this is the worse collection of talent in years!!!!! this reminds me of the rich kotite years!!!! time to tear this team down and start over!!!! MR.T, REX, your fired!!!!!!
Incredibly well said and I'm not a Sanchez hater just realized over this season it won't happen with him.
you will see many changes this off season......no doubt. Fatcessa was right....the talent has significantly dropped since 2009....with or without those key injuries
Mark Sanchez is a total joke. He is small, inaccurate, weak armed, dumb, and a terrible leader. Stop the madness already.
tebow is not in serious consideration for a reason, the guy can't play. don't cut ur nose to spite ur face it's just dumb
stick with sanchez and nothing changes...make the swap to tebow and at least there is hope to win...team will play harder we just got thumped by the phins with their backup QB...yeah dude there is no other choice
Thanks, and neither was I, I bought a Sanchez jersey and was a fan right after the draft in 2009 I remember having to constantly defend him to my Giant fan friends, bringing up these caveats and obscure stats to prove he wasn't as bad as people were saying...those were the days. But 2011 and 2012 have changed my view, I am seeing QBs just as young and even younger quarterbacks perform better, and have to look on with envy seeing quarterbacks like RGIII, Dalton, Freeman, Flacco, Ryan, and even Newton and Stafford (even Tannehill!) to a lesser extant make something of themselves and show real star potential. Remember when there was a debate over who was better, Flacco or Sanchez? How laughable is that question now...
