If Sanchez gets voted to the pro bowl next year, he better check overhead for a bucket of pig's blood. Just sayin.

You know, only in NY could you have a 'fan' base that hates the NY sports media for stuff they write about a draftee, while at the same time hating their starting QB, that gave them 4 road playoff wins in his first two years.

Have you guys stopped marking X on each day leading up to June 1 yet?

    I know, huh?

They're all simpletons who get worked up over the lack of production the last two years.

These are the average fans who don't understand the new Jets. They can't even grasp why a 2nd down int. is a good thing!

Tell you the truth, I don't quite understand that either...but whatever.
    I'm still on board.

Go Jets! We're so bad it's good!

No doubt lets appreciate having the worst starting QB in the league lets overlook that aspect of it.

    Arizona,Buffalo,and Jacksonville all say hello.

Skelton, fitzpatrick and Gabbert have what in common?

Oh, right.,they all played for teams that got to pick ahead of us.

And, Fwiw, Arizona started two others, and JVille started Hiney, the Miami castoff,

Try to at least embrace a sense of proportion.

Considering your screen name, you might also want to add the merriam webster definition of Irony.

A guy with a monniker of Testaverde, mocking Sanchez.,,,is mind boggling.

I mean hey, Vinny only threw 81 picks in his first 4 years.

Ehm, yeeeah... we all know Sanchez gave us those 4 wins.
Not a bad feat, considering how appaling the running game and the defense was.

Well, at least you're trollbaiting with a sense of humour. :)

...and by "right system", we mean a #1 running game, a #1 defense, and a #1 special teams unit. Oh yeah, under 15 attempts and 100 yrds. passing per game.

And by "better", we mean mediocre.

    It's like they're mocking us.

In our "bad is good" scheme, it's important for us to maintain our awfulness. Now that the circus atmosphere is calming down, the #1 priority is for Sanchez to continue to regress to the top.

That's why the first two picks in the draft were awful. If our defense improves, Sanchez will have fewer reasons to throw those 2nd down int./punts.

The problem is that there have been times that Mark has shown flashes of greatness. He was not the reason we lost either of those 2 playoff games and he outplayed Brady and Manning in back to back weeks in the playoffs. I think last year was about as bad I have seen any QB play for this team maybe ever however the fact that Tony Sparano was involved should not be discounted. Stephen Ross said he destroyed the Dolphins and he destroyed any change the Jets had at success last year. When you are wishing you had Schottenheimer that's not a good thing. I'm not saying Sanchez is great or should be our QB but it's easy to remember his awfulness and block out the games he played well. Everybody forgets the game against Houston when he lead the team 80 yards in under 50 seconds, or the New England game when Revis got hurt and he led the team to victory. Mark's biggest issue has always been consistency

Kolb was the starting QB for Arizona when they started 4-0, Skelton got hurt during the pre season (I think). Kolb is in fact a better QB than Sanchez.

Fitzpatrick is better than Sanchez and his numbers back up that claim, look it up.

Gabbert sucks but he is only 24 so at least he has the benefit of improving. Plus he played better than Sanchez when he was healthy last year.

I'm not a Bucs fan, Browns fan, or Ravens fan. I don't care what he did with those teams. He was 10 times the QB for us than Sanchez ever will be. I know you think MM is going to fix everything, but you will find out soon enough.

    Statistics don't mean shit.
Lets see how Sanchez does with Smith nipping at his heels.
The kid has the tools, lets see if he can use them.
