Fuck Sanchez. I can't believe I used to defend the guy. I gave up on him weeks ago, but this is the straw that broke the camel's back. GET OUT OF HERE YOU CLOWN MARK SANCHEZ!

I think he'll last a little longer than that. There isn't a GM in the world who would risk his job letting this loser start for his team, but he might float around for a while as a backup if he can be signed very cheap.

His best bet would be if Kate Upton somehow fucks her way into a GM job ... or if JUNC lands a job somewhere.

Just got back from Nashville, boy was that a crap fest. Sanchez needs no mentioning, I will let his work speak for itself. But there were other things lacking:

Rex would walk in behind the players on the sideline while the offense was on the field. If I have to watch so should he.

Nick snapped the ball low everytime they were in the shotgun both to Sanchez and Tebow.

Reuland couldn't figure out where to line up.

I thought we might pull it out, but alas no.

The titans fans were great. We chanted Te -Bow when the jumbo tron was showing de- fense.

We didn't belong in the playoffs, but I would have liked to be still in the running.

Oh well, there is always next year.

Honestly, if he gets cut, I don't see any team wanting him. This is where a good agent can help you, and he clearly has a good agent since the agent swindled the Jets big time this past offseason. If there was a way, I'd try to cut him this week.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of typing a long diatribe about the Sanchez situation. If one takes the time to search my posts about Sanchez, you'd see that I was calling for him to be benched after week 4...the 49er's game.

OK...Sanchez is done, at least for this season. What's troubling is the fact that the front office and coaches let it spiral to such a comical state. The NY Jets are literally the laughing stock of the NFL.

    You wanted publicity Woody?

    Well...you got it.

Not even close. The top thread has 12,500 posts...this one has 4,400.

This thread wouldn't even get a Bronze in the Olympics.

With Sanchez mercifully on the bench, this thread will sink like the Jets season.

Let's hope we don't see a "McElroy just sucks...just sucks" thread...

It's over It's over.. thank god it's over. I can now watch with hope. And it'll be fun. Back the 80's, first downs were a party, who cares. I just wish we had Miami or something fun coming up. It's wasn't so much the bad play with Sanchez it was the squishy loserness. Anyway, it's over!!!

Question: Do they put anything in to a players contract regarding performance clauses? To protect against a player dogging it?

They'd have to find cocaine & kiddie porn in Sanchez' locker to get rid of him clean...

Okay, so according to you, it's everyone's fault that Sanchez sucks, except Sanchez himself. If I were you I'd call Mike T. and apply to be head talent scout.

i see a lot of ignorant comments in here but id like to play devils advocate for a second.....

every single jets fan was on the band wagon when we went to back to back AFCCG's including myself.

now i know sanchez didnt carry us there but he was a very good game manager and led us to some 4th quarter wins with late drives in his first two years.

    so year three....what went wrong?

schotty and the jets get away from the bread and butter which was "ground and pound" and try to turn sanchez into a gun slinger with all these 3 ad 4 wide sets and he cleary does not have the skillset to thrive in that kind of offense(im sure no one will argue with me on that one). they pretty much eliminated the one and only part of being an NFL QB that he thrived at and that was the play action pass mixed with a power run game.

    year four..
everyone knows you need to bring in a QB for a legitimate competition to win the NY Jets starting QB job...this is sanchez year to beat out his competition and show his true ability.

what do the jets do? bring in tim fucking tebow and essentially tell everyone. "tebow is here for the wildcat mark is the starter."

instead of improving an offense that struggled miserably the year before we sign tim tebow...

so with all the media circus that surrounds tim tebow everyone knows that the minute mark has a bad game the media will be all over it calling for tebow to start and this in that...in other words made this whole entire season one big media circus thus destroying a young qbs confidence.

you all know how this season is ending so i wont elaborate...

my point being is that the jets handles this situation in the worst way imaginable. instead of putting pieces around your young qb to play to his strength you completely ruin the kids career.

i was a big sanchez believer and feel bad for the kid. at this point i no longer believe hell ever develop the skill set to be a winning qb in the nfl which i firmly believe has everything to do with how the jets handled this situation.

thats just my thoughts on how the last four years have gone.

Never feel bad for someone who made $20 million dollars last year even though they did a shitty job.
