So funny that anyone gives an inkling of truth about Sanchez and they get their throat ripped out...and belittled yet, The Haters are so blinded with hate they almost become nonsensical with ramblings. k, I checked in... lol
Unless you are here to talk about how terrible Sanchez is, you are not speaking truth. Pointing out that Mark Sanchez is the worst QB in the NFL is not hate, it's called objective reality.
Since we're getting technical here, you'll take ANY of the Cardinals QBs over Sanchez? Just checking....
Objective my ass... Saying he is the worst while Ignoring Marks accomplishments so far (Not many but he does have) just to say He sucks is NOT objective. Actually it's pathetic and so many Mark Haters do that. No one is saying Mark is the END all or will ever be. Yet, totally disregarding that he has had some bright spots makes some haters look straight out ignorant.
I wasn't claiming that Stallworth was bad, only that he was on the team a short time, years ago, and didn't have that many passes from Brady. It's not like he was Deion Branch and was there forever. Ah yes, when your statement gets blown up and completely disproven, be sure to say "you're a tebow fan" to try and downplay it. The games that his level of stuff happens in are ones that "elite" QBs are playing in. Sure, adjustments are made, but the question is the degree and the subtlety. The point being made is that you don't have to have some "high level" of Chemistry for a QB to go out and have a competent day passing the ball. A QB doesn't HAVE to have the same set of receivers for 9 years in order to be able to hit them on an out route or a slant. Since you need it spelled out, I'll happily oblige. Say we had picked up Stallworth even the week before, Sanchez would have missed that pass by a good 5-8 yards, and his defenders would have been in here saying "What do you expect, he had no time to develop any CHEMISTRY !!!!!".
What's really funny is that everyone says Sanchez only looked good because we had a stacked team in 2010, but Braylon and Cotchery have done nothing since leaving Sanchez and neither has Plax. But those guys made Sanchez look decent, how come they don't look good now? It surprises some people, but sometimes the QB and WR help each other out. In the rare elite QB or elite WR cases, it goes the other way but most of the time, they help each other out. It's what happened with Sanchez and Braylon
This could be a turning point for Sanchez. He gets some chemistry back. He's going to need it with no Keller, Hill and Holmes. Braylon to the rescue! Me thinks Braylon will be motivated and will have some success with Marky Mark. Worst comes to worst he teaches Hill a thing or 2 about how to overcome drops. I just hope this isn't too late.
We'll know how late it is by Sunday evening. I personally think it's not (though Dez Bryant is out for the Cowboys)
he made those guys into NAMES they were nothing before sanchez and nothing after Keller is a scrub and sanchez made that guy look like a pro bowl sleeper
I don't get how people can argue Sanchez isn't a bad QB. I'm being completely serious here, not trying to get people all riled up. Sanchez has completed 55.3% of his passes for his career with a 6.53 yards per pass attempt. He has thrown for 67 touchdowns and ran in 12 more, while putting the ball on the ground 40 times and having thrown 64 interceptions. Guys with passing % that low and that many interceptions should be throwing for way more yardage. It doesn't add up. I don't want to completely discount the playoff performances, but remember -- the Jets were a dominating running team then so he was probably facing 8 in the box and running play action passes most of those games. Those defenses game-planned for the run and tried to take that away and have Sanchez beat them. To his credit he did 4 out of 6 times. That was two years ago though, and has anyone that watched the Jets the last 2years seriously seen any improvement in Sanchez? You can make the case he has gotten worse. He will never be a difference maker, and in this QB-driven league he can't hack it as a starter.
Uhh that's stretching it a lot. Keller is a good receiver that has trouble when teams play physically and now gets injured a lot. Braylon was good before Sanchez but lost his dropsies which is more on him, not Sanchez. Cotch was always solid before Sanchez. Same with Holmes. Stretching the truth completely
No, I put Sanchez right on the level of the arizona QB's, which is zero. Fortunately for Arizona, they don't pay their worthless QB's 15 million dollars a year and the coach is smart enough to rotate them when they are getting embarrassed.
Yes because when playing us he rotated Lindley out and put in John Skelton while we let Sanchez.... oh wait
See now this I disagree with. I guess you are just trying to be sarcastic or funny, which doesn't really work on a message board. Either way, I agree that Sanchez is terrible and the Jets pay him too much. That being said, to say he is on the level with those 2 Arizona quarterbacks is a stretch. Sanchez is clearly a bottom 3-5 starting QB in the league now.
i don't think anyone is arguing that sanchez is a bad qb anymore.i think the argument is wether it his doing or the f.o. for the talent they put around him. basically do you think he is dragging the whole team down or do you believe the whole team has regressed together.
Honestly I feel that he has dragged the team down quite a bit. INTs at the worst possible time. Fumbles galore. I think the talent level has dropped some, and theres some holes for sure. That being said, good QBs can overcome that, he can't.
