Tebow isn't capable of being a QB in the NFL, that is why everyone still sticks with Sanchez

Not but if you want to create a good team, it helps to load the team with talent, something we have not done at the skill position on offense. We don't have anyone like that.

Right? I mean clearly they were shaking their head the first two years of Sanchez's and Ryan's tenure right? Let's fire them for actual mistakes, the 2010-2011 offseason and Woody most likely intefering with this most recent offseaosn.

The cynical interpretation here is that the the irrefutably delusional thinking of their head coach has irrecoverably polluted the minds of the Jets players, rendering them inherently incapable of seeing what is so blatantly obvious to every Jets observer (fan, reporter, team-hater) in the world: Mark Sanchez is fucking terrible.

Watching the ESPN special 'the Brady 6'...I remember thinking is Mark Sanchez a Giovanni Carmazzi who survived due to Rex's special attention & affection...well I guess he was...it took two and a half years of holding it in...now he has cracked...hope he wont end up a goat herder in two years...

Another argument for not switching to Tebow. is this:
Tebow can't play in a conventional offense, as bad as Sanchez is he still allows the team to play a west coast scheme, which helps the young players who do have a future on the team.

Cimini hinted in an article that none of the team buys into Tebow. Again it's Cimini but he hinted that peopel are supporting Sanchez because they don't buy Tebow.

There is no luck though. We suck, probably reach on a QB or draft a non QB to improve the team and still have Sanchez.

I keep hearing that. But answer this honestly....Is Sanchez fit to be a QB in the NFL?

Sadly, that's the history of this franchise post Namath. I have a feeling Tannenbaum wouldn't have drafted Luck anyway.

The strange rule was absolutely correctly called in that game.

Imagine how drafting Peyton would have changed our whole franchise.

Tanny couldn't have missed last year. RGIII or Luck, perfect scenario for him that year. It doesn't look like any QBs in this draft, so draft some LB/G/RT/ playmaker at RB/WR and move onto next year with Sanchez. Watch him flounder for another year. The following draft get a QB/OL/missing pieces and then hopefully be good. Gonna take next year to rebuild, there is no quick fix except for Sanchez "Getting it" which has a .0000000000000000000000000000900001 percent chance of happening

Buy into it or not. At the end of the day, it's all about winning and losing. Right now, this team is a loser. So it's time to start buying into something different.

    I can see that though.

If Denver had any thought that Tebow could be their future they would have kept him period. There was a reason only a couple of teams were after Manning, San Fran was at the doorstep of a SB so the gamble was worth it, Denver wasn't remotely close to that, so giving a 36 year old Quarterback coming off potentially career threatening injury a long term huge contract no matter how good he is, is a massive gamble that teams with a QB set would never do

We don't know for sure if Tebow is capeable of being an NFL QB. You're probably right, but I'd still be willing to give him a shot ... because I already know that Sanchez isn't capeable of being an NFL QB.

We don't need a QB to come in and play great. We only need a QB to come in and not give the goddamn ball to the other team in crucial spots time after time.

I just said it above, we are on a two year at best case scenario to rebuild. It's not going to just happen this offseason. That might be the reason they are keeping Sanchez. Play him out and let him leave. You don't want a stop gap QB because this team isn't good enough to carry a stop gap QB anyways. IT would be a waste of resources

Personally, I have felt for weeks now that it is abundantly clear that the Jets don't view Tebow as an NFL quarterback. The fact that they didn't even give him a full series in the second half of the dolphins disaster, was in and of itself, conclusive proof that they don't think Tebow is an NFL quarterback. And the fact that Rex is STILL stubbornly committing himself and his players to Sanchez, after witnessing the utter disgrace that was the Jets offense today, is only the icing on the cake. Unfortunately, what Rex doesn't seem to comprehend is that, even if Tim Tebow is not a legitimate NFL quarterback, NEITHER IS MARK SANCHEZ, and thus, he has NO valid excuse for not holding Mark Sanchez accountable for his embarrassingly poor play.

True. Tebow has a contract that is very friendly if a team actually thought he was a QB. Denver moved him because they absolutely didn't believe in him, if they had, they would have kept him, instead they drafted Brock Osweiller to take the position of young Qb behind Manning.

Kaepernik also appears to be able to throw the ball, something Tebow can't do.

He is capable of being a game-manager if everything is perfect he proved that in his first few years, but the better answer is that we can get rid of Tebow next year, we are stuck with Sanchez due to his huge contract, so we would just be busting a cap on our own feet if we were to make a switch.

BS - Denver named Tebow the starter this year in the post season news conference. They traded him when they got Peyton "Freaking" Manning. No one has any idea what will happen IF Tebow ever gets the commitment of a team as the starter. We do know however he took (helped take) the WORST team in the NFL to an 8-5 record as the starter last year and beat the Steelers (Big Ben) in the playoffs. Hell he beat Sanchez head to head last year. So clearly he has no business being a QB in the NFL - right? Point is - you may turn out to be right but we don't know that at this point and the reasoning you mentioned is delusional. He had a winning record with the worst team in the NFL at the time.
