Mick is dead serious. He isn't wrong that Holmes has incredible intangibles. Holmes has that clutch gene that makes him ridiculously good late in games, if Jets fans aren't aware of that, what the hell were you watching this year?

Edwards has the ability to do so, but he is more hot and cold late in games. I really feel that with Edwards, when he wants to be, he can be flat out uncoverable, but he doesn't have that attitude all the time, and thats what makes Holmes just a little bit better than Edwards.

That said Edwards is perfect for this offense, and I really want to see him back in Green and White next year.

Gotcha, I thought he was referring to things like attitude, leadership, and integrity haha. Yeah Santonio definitely has that clutch thing going for him.

Unless something absolutely crazy happens, he will be. Both sides want it.

Yeah, screw that picture. Some douche on his page with a "Jet" name was giving him props on it too.

Some jets fans are truly retarded.

Leadership he has as well. Everyone in the locker room naturally looks to the guy, he is a fantastic team mate. He may not come off well in the media, but as far as in the locker room (which is all that really matters) he comes off as a great person the guys look to as a leader of the team.

In the media his attitude may suck but all that matters is the guys in the locker room trust him, and he damn well earned that trust last year.

Santonio is in it for the gold not the glory and that bothers me. He may be clutch, but Braylon has an allegiance to this team and gives off the sense that he believes in the teams cause. That puts Edwards ahead of Holmes in the intangible category in my opinion.

When he said last season that beating the Pats was better then winning the SB I knew he was a moron so that picture of him with the Pitt shirt doesn't suprise me.

You're all focusing too much on this loyalty crap. I mean, who really cares? Santonio has the talent, and he seemed like a great team player while he was on the team last season, so why are some assuming that he'll turn into a selfish prick if he's signed long term?

The only loyalty is with the fans not the players.

I was just explaining why Braylon has better intangibles in my opinion, I'd take Santonio any day over Edwards.

For someone like Santonio I don't think it matters so much. For some players, loyalty and positive attitude toward the team makes a difference in how hard they play. Look at diva WR's like Randy Moss, Brandon Marshall, etc... they get in a situation where they aren't happy and they start taking plays off, not trying hard, etc. For Santonio, I don't think he's like that, so it's not as big of a deal with him... but I do think its a quality worth discussing, so I wouldn't throw it out.
