I'm not willing to give the author credibility. Who is he and what are his credentials? Ridiculous. But the content... we need to talk about that a bit. Spend the farm on Payton Manning? Are we joking here? Not at all interested in that. This guy is out to lunch on that. But the rest of it... I do still have my doubts about this young man. I'm saying Sanchez is still a question Mark in my mind, pun intended. I know my stance is unpopular, but I need to see the puppy dog disappear and the man emerge. The true leader. A real, durable, command-presence, take-charge quarterback. I know he has work ethic... Joe Namath told me so recently. And he's "going to be a great one." Okay. But I need to see it start happening this year. And against good-to-great defenses. And putting enough points on the board to win no matter what. God willing, I'll have to eat my words as a doubter.
and that is why all Jet fans should write to this idiot and tell him where to go. The Jets seldom get respect and its about time we Jets fans stood up for out team! Tell these media jerks off!
"The Jets won’t be able to just beat teams with their running game and great defense." This is one of the most asinine things I've ever read. Is it my imagination or have we been doing this exact thing for the past 2 years with great success? 20-12 regular season, 4-2 in the playoffs, all wins on the road to elite QBs. Explain to me why we can't win this way?
I made it slightly farther. This cunt is an idiot. I'm guessing he's assuming that those 4th quarter comebacks later in the season happened when Holmes threw the ball to himself.
Is he an NFL scout or a boy scout? This guy is fucking clueless. I can't believe someone gave firemanedjr a job
Who the fuck is Jayson Braddock anyway! Never heard of this guy before. Mofo can't even spell his name right. Sanchez is our QB and I don't care what other assholes say about him or this team. J!-E!-T!-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
IMO there is some merit in what he says. However, where he miserably fails is Sanchez' greatest strength. No one on that list has half the leadership ability of our very young QB. As he points out the defense is vastly responsible for the Jets success under Ryan, so a Brady or Manning is far from necessary. The Jets need a game manager and someone his teammates like and respect. Sanchez has both of those qualities with enough to spare. While Brady goes to Rio, Sanchez flew his teammates to California to get extra informal work. Not just this lockout off season, but last year as well. While Sanchez will never have a cannon for an arm, this Jets team doesn't need Favre P.II. I wasn't in favor of drafting Sanchez, but he has certainly won me over. Sanchez is the man!
