They have stronger bags now at Stop and Shop. No doubt Muck will find this useful in his future career.

I've never said the same doesn't apply to the rest of the team, players, coaches, front office, ownership. I do protest when in the past the Jets have been accused of being cheap because they haven't been, for the past 5 or 7 years the Jets have been at or near cap. The problem hasn't been that they've been cheap but that they've chosen talent poorly and invested in the wrong players or overspent on certain players. That's a front office thing, the current front office gets a pass from me because it's the first year for them with their own front office team in place, so as far as I'm concerned this is year one. I give them huge kudos for getting out of a total cap mess, now it's time to see what they do. But I also realize that if you're going to build a team the right way it's going to take 2-3 seasons of drafts. Mike T. in going for it choose poorly and left the team shallow on depth, the good teams have depth. Now 2-3 years down the road Idzik and company become fair game in my eyes, but that doesn't mean I won't say "I don't like this move" or "I think they made a mistake here". It just means I won't be calling for their head after 1 or 2 seasons. Which is the same grace I give drafted players.

no poor Mark, he's a free agent. If he goes there it's because he chose to. If that's the only team that even expresses any interest in him then that again speaks volumes.

I'm amazed the Raiders would want Matt Shaub over Sanchez,They called Shaub the longterm answer at qb,and we think we have it bad lol

I'll be the first to admit that I don't like Sanchez (I really fell off the Sanchez bandwagon after his third season), but the delusions of the Sanchez fans on this message boards know no bounds.

That's what makes a message board. I can't imagine anyone choosing Sanchez over Schaub. None of us will know who's right unless they both get time on the field.

I can't the article that mentioned how we had changed the offer to a superior one, but DRC were tired of waiting and playing games
    http://mmqb.si.com/2014/03/20/nfl-free-agency-money-contracts/

The Giants’ deal, with a $10 million signing bonus and $16 million over the first two years, was superior. The Jets held to the structure of a one-year $6 million deal, with options going forward, until it became clear the Giants were closing in. Only then did the Jets present a different type of structure, with general manager John Idzik scrambling to make up ground while attending Teddy Bridgewater’s pro day. By then, however, it was too late; the Giants had won the intra-stadium battle.

Best of luck mark, I look forward to seeing you play again as long as it's for someone else and preferably against the jets which would increase our chances for victory.

I knew we were screwed after your gq bs started. Maybe sf likes your buttfumble act. Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

you do realize there has been tremendous interest in him, right? you also realize he entered FA 2 weeks after it started and is coming off a major injury. he wasn't out of work 5 mins before many teams expressed interest.

I think there was a tweet saying a few teams were interested...hardly a "tremendous" amount of interest. Has he even visited anyone?

there were 4-5 teams interested. Considering all the QB moves made in the first 2 weeks of FA when he wasn't a FA that is a tremendous amount. if they guy was as bad as you guys claim no one would be looking at him.

If he was as good as you claim half the league would cut there starting QB to start him.

So what, he got 50M of Johnsons money to tide him over for those 2 weeks, they should have paid him the bonus and cut him the last day of camp instead.

he will start sooner than later and fans like you will be whining when he succeeds again.

In the meantime he is coming off a serious injury where he missed all of 2013(or we would have made the playoffs and he'd still be here).

Yeah and the Giants were looking at him which leads me to believe they were looking to have him start next season for the Giants. It looks like he will be the starter in Philly though, sooner or later.

Where can you possibly see him starting?

Obviously he's going to start over Foles in Philly. Foles lost a home playoff game to a team with less talent. Mark won 4 road playoff games and has 2 AFCCG appearances.

Only average fans that look at fantasy stats would think Foles has a shot to start over him.
